I played the demo and was not impressed. The responsiveness of the analog controls is crappy. Might be adjustable in the menus...but as it stands default all analog controls feel weak on the bottom end and overpowered on the top end. It's like the analog stuff was mapped to a sort of bell curve, with the first little bit of pressure doing jack, but the next little bit doing too much. It makes it hard to modulate smooth steering, throttle, and braking, which means the game is pretty much broken right there, since those 3 things are kind of the most important part of racing.
I dunno. I loved Forza 1, won all the races, built some badass cars, and had a lot of fun with it. But Forza 2 and 3 have failed to keep my interest like that. I really think it must be in the "behind the scenes" stuff like the control issues. I just feel so detached from the car I'm driving that instead of being a virtual race it's more like a fight to overcome the lack of feedback.
Definitely won't be buying it, although racing games really aren't my thing. If I want to have fun in a car, I'll go get in my car.
