For you S13 owners, which do you prefer... coupe or hatch?

I'm good either way, Coupe or Hatch, but i own a hatch.

There is one thing thats bombo about the hatch, a smaller sub hits WAY harder in a hatch then the coupe. You put a 10 in a hatch and a coupe and the hatch hits harder and louder inside the car, and less outside the car.:squint

Interesting, never thought about that. Why do you suppose that is? Maybe because the privacy panel lets way more bass through.

It's possible that because the trunk is not truely enclosed that it allows more base to come through, also the seats in the coupe deaden the sound much more than in a hb because the privacy board lets most of it out. There is also the fact that the base is bouncing of the trunk lid and the trunk lid ends closer your head that in a coupe. :squint

my friend has a 2001 protege w/ 2 10's (the kinda that "dom" had in the F&F) and he puts the back seats down and you can hear it a whole lot. not so much outside, but inside you can hear it awesome.
