For 95-96 Zenki owners, have you seen these ultra-clear PLASTIC headlights?

LOL see you need this more then I. ill ship ya my spare headlights and before you get with the beat down you can slap those babys down on their desk and say, "i want you to make them strongerand faster....DAMN IT WE HAVE THE TECHNOLIGY!!!"

hmm maybe i could make my own projectors out of fiberglass but not have lenses just little pods holding projectors and piaa driving lamps. I'm sure i could build them ahell of a lot cheaper than i could buy those lenses or projector headlights.

It could actually be a fun summer project. If you've seen the pics of my boxes in the backseats you can tell i've worked with fiberglass:) I'd really have to think hard about design and what lights would be used. Remember high beams low beams and corners. buildign the first set would be the hard part. Then making a mold i could just pop copies out one every couple of days.

It'd be sanded down and sprayed with primer and should bolt up just like a zenki headlight and corner. I was thinking using a small clusters of amber super bright leds for the corners only need afew to make a bright flash.then just to find the right projectors...

I have taken my headlights aprt to do my own thing its not hard and you can just use your oven at your house but if you guys get this setup i am in

Hi Brandon,

I agree that the price is high for just lens covers, but it's thecombination of the not-so-hot discount and high shipping costs that makesthe price so high. However, the information below should prove encouraging.

Word from Final Konnexion is that we can pass on a better discount if we cansell at least 24 sets, which isn't entirely unrealistic. If we could sell24 sets, we could bump the price down to $354.90Shipped

If we move less than 24 but more than 10, we can sell at the previouslymentioned price of $239.95 (headlight cover) and $129.95 (clear corners).

To contrast, purchase a single set (for example, headlight covers) wouldamount to:

1. Headlight covers on Final Konnexion's site are currently 24,150 yen. Attoday's conversion rate (about 110 yen/dollar), your price is $219.55.

2. Shipping from Final Konnexion (and here's the kicker) on this set wouldbe $40-50, raising the total to $259.55-269.55.

3. That amount must be wired to Final Konnexion, and bank transfer fees areusually $15-25 depending on who you bank with. So the total on theheadlights is now anywhere from $274.55-294.55.

So if we move at least 10 sets but less than 24, you would save about $35-55per set versus a single set purchase. If we move 24 or more, you'd saveabout $55-75 per set versus a single set purchase.

Please let us know if feedback is favorable! We might post a group buy onthis item on Zilvia.net to see if we can make the 24 units possible, shouldenough people on NICO also want to try for it.

Also today i started thinking up designs on building custom multi projector headlights. It might take afew months of research and design to get the first actual set done but if they come out right they could be for sale in mid fall-winter.

K this might actually work:) I'm going to check with him to see if thats $10 ship to each of our doorstep or if they all have to be sent to one location(my place then out to each of you, so that would be anothe 10bucks or so depening on how far you are from St. Louis and how quick you want them once I'd recieve them all.). Also your wanting all 4 lenses right(heads,and corners)

i can check ups's page whats your zip.I'm not sure how big the boxes will be and weight, and they are mostly what determine shipping cost but I'll make sure to get the info of the size and weight from systemq so I can make more accurate shipping quotes.

Yeah don't worry I wouldn't ask for money upfront untill we get atleast 24 people and I would be close to ordering. When we Do get 24 people I'll set the Final price in stone so we don't have any more variables, because right now i'm not sure if systemq would be sending them all to me or would be willing to send out to each person. Remember they said once the order is placed and they recieve the money from me it will take 2-3 weeks for them to come from japan to the states(either to your doors or mine). And then another week or less after that depending if I have to repackage and send them out from St. louis.
