When i last posted up above we were still at 9 people for the group buy of24 people. I can contact Satoshi and see if the price has ever came down or not. If anyones dying to have them i think he can let them go for around 450 shipped. So if anyones still wanting them tell me whats up and i'll see what he says.

Btw sorry guys about not really finding more people lately, Alot of the forums are turning to the sponors only posting of group buys and products( I don't blame them have to pay the bills for webspace somehow) and i don't feel like getting banned from nico, zilvia and whatnot. I can try looking around more but not sure how entirely successful i'll be. I've been stressing to find a job since i've been back from toronto and until i do its going to be tough for me to put cash together for my own set(paying off the car is a priority right now, don't want the bank repoing my car cause i bought lenses instead;) ) well i'm done ranting for tonight lol.

The group buy of 24 people was 354.90 the one of 11 people was around another 30 bucks, and individual sets were between 425-450. I'll check with Satoshi to make sure these prices are still the same and nothings changed

I kinda gave up on this temporarily, but I think I'll try again. I was looking at plastic injection places to see how much it would cost to get these made so maybe we could offer them at a more reasonable cost to NICO members. I know I don't want to pay $450 for these.

when the group buy was going full swing i had emailed a plastic injection company making sure to sound like i was a big corporate kinda guy so they wouldn't just toss the message out, and they redirected me to there programming manager for the clear plastics machine. And to put it bluntly they wouldn't touch the job, he said the company does not wish to further commence on the clear lens project due to the extreme quality control their has to be on them, I can dig around for the email. And the fact it would probaly cost thousands to make the molds for them:)

Btw, i'm still waiting on the email from satoshi to verify the pricing is still correct, so bear with me.

If there's any of you that are new to this group buy or really anyone thats still intrested shoot me an email at [email protected] just with saying yes you want to be part of it basic shipping info stuff like that. i need to dig out the list of all the people i had written down and re email them to see if there up to it still.

When i find out more info i'll post back up on here. Thanks for staying patient guys.

Hey, I saw the group buy on the soundq's website. I am down for the group buy, but you still need like 11 more people. Maybe you should post this group buy on other 240sx forums like Socal240 or az240.

that looks ok i guess, I dont get why people care about changing lights and crap. stock lights work fine too. I changed the high beem lights on my car only cuz we race in the mountains and need them. The low beams are untouched since they dont matter.

Well then again I spent 1400$ on 18s instead of performance stuff so what do i know

There was a link somebody posted afew weeks ago that showed how to grind/sand down the reflector portions of the lenses, I think its the guy that did the audi projectors into his lowbeams, can't remember his nico name. Anyways i was reading the site he posted and it talked about using optical grade plastic epoxy, you'd pour it into the lens and it would fill all the reflector grooves making the lenses appear clear. I've been slacking on it but theres a company next to my dad's that makes eye glass lenses, and they might have or know where to get this opti grade epoxy. If i can get some i'll find a junk yard and get afew test lenses to see if this theory is correct.
