Well what turned me off is they didnt want to give me the name of a single source we has bought from them as a reference. They are not worth it...plus there prices went up by 400 for clips. Not worth the headache. Also, they keep sending people the SAME pic of the clip. Which means the either arent selling any or are trying to screw people.

2400-2500 for a complete motorset...just too good to pass. Anyway, Daunt, do you have any recommendations on aftermarket oil pans? I don't want to have nightmares about ruining my engine because of a tiny dent...

Hi gentlemen, i receive this URL from someone reading this forum. Let me tell you more FlashOptions.com started business on the web on the 28th of September.I'm sure there is doubt trusting our company especially we're oversea . What can be done is that we already pass the us embassy test in malaysia. they wanted to know if we are a geniune company. We pass them all our information , company info. You can contact the US embassy checking on flashoptions.com

This will proof our company. We won't spoil our reputation in this JDM market. We will live up to our name. Our real company name is Kairuzan Co.Jp in Japan. We transfered transport our front clips / engines to malaysia as cost of living , labour is cheap.

We then wood crate the front clips / complete swaps.Once receive your wire transfer payment that tele with your scan / attach wire transfer. We'll contact you back immediately and your engine will be ready within 48hours. Please note "shipment to united states / canada is on monday"

If there is any question or any doubts which i would like to clarify to you guys. Please email at [email protected]

We aren't questioning who you supply! JspecAuto rips people off on EBAY anyway. It just adds to the list of "bad vendors". Also, we here at the nico forums are not saying you will rip us off, but we question the quality of your parts and what your engines come with. Also, being that you are overseas, it is easier for you to get away with our money should you NOT send the item and nothing can be done about it(not jumping to conclusions). Our best bet from you would be to order a front clip (if you send it), but there is the shipping factor from Malaysia to our DOORSTEP in USA. Not only that, but add taxes and import fees. Shipping 1000lbs. of almost pure metal to your doorstep from the other side of the world isn't exactly cheap. Eventually, it will all add up.

The good reputable resources that we know of for buying engines and parts from, guarantee quality (there's that word again). People like Daunttless, Wayne @ Phase2, and Yuri @ HeavyThrottle send us parts of quality. Much of the time, if something is bad on the engine, Wayne and Yuri would replace it with overnight shipping. I wouldn't doubt that when Daunttless starts up his shop, he would do the same to keep us happy. Also, there MotorSets come with FULL UNCUT HARNESS. A harness bought seperately isn't a walk in the park for us. Prices for a harness alone add up to be 300-500 depending on who you buy it from. They also send vital parts with the engine like Ignitor Chip and sensors to aid the engine in running. What can you guarantee and strive to prove to us?

what ups guys. im the person who told flashoptions to check the site out and see what is being said. Now my reason for all this.Ok as most of you know i dumped my 2000 civic si that ran 12s all day long to geting this nissan stuff. After selling my civic and all the parts i have a little bit of money to play with. This all happened when i first joind this board a few months back. I have been hunting an engine since and had no luck. Okso i try all the places and they want over 2500bucks for the setup, sorry guys its just a motor, i dont plan to go over 2500 for this. In steps daunttless, with the price of $2200 pluss shiping 150-300bones. And im getting ready to order and he has the problems with getting the motors here. No big deal, so i look at flash option and it seems like the place to go. but then there the whole over seas issue. If they screw me over im stuck, if i had a probem with daunttless i can go right to him, ya know. Then theres the prices.dauntless:motor $2200shipping $300-$15preorder discount $100so im looking at about $2500

then theres flash optionsmotor $1600us shipping $330shipping to my house??????? i guess 300bucksprice to send money $125 with western unionso we have a total of $2055 pluss shipping to my house makes it about $2355this is only $150 cheeper than dauntless.

But heres my problem. I have to have the motor in the car tunning fine, and the car painted in a location 8 hours from here and all done by march. This includes sending the harness out to get changed over for the motor as i just dont have time to do this. I also have to have a 97 civic pushing over 450hp, and broken in for one of my customers by the start of the race season. But the i then have to have the nissan pushing at least 300hp (dyno tunned, not guessing) to run in the class i was in with my civic. So i can order from flash options and get it here in time, but deal with the problems i may have if parts are missing and how much it cost to ship the broken stuff that is messed up on the motor, or what it is missing. So i added it all up and im just gonna have to chance that dauntless can get the motors out to use as fast as possable so i can meet all these deadlines. So my deposti will be going to dauntless today. to hold me a motor.

Flashoptions is not affiliated with silviagirl79 We will be checking with our competitors. If you need pictures of S13 SR20DET (a piece of paper beside the front clip that says [email protected])this will give you a confidence in our company.I hope to hear from you soon

In case no one has checked the weather in Malaysia... (yes i have no life)

http://www.weather.com/outlook...lared

Take a quick look at the seven day forecast near the bottom. Realize this will change as the days go by, but as of November 29th... There are going to be scattered thunderstorms all over those unprotected engines every day this week. Just a thought.

ok, so lets say you get the engine, and it's not in perfect working order? what are you going to do? i mean i know that no matter how 'good' the motor is, chances are that someone will need help with it, either a problem will arise with it or parts missing, i just saying, how are you going to work problems like that out? atlest with someone in the usa you can talk to them and work it out, just too risky to save a few bucks, i like to think of it as piece of mind : )

i was thinkin about going with flash options too because of price ($1280 for an SR clip until 12/31/02) but i think i'll wait to see if anyone has had good business with them or go with daunttless. chickenboo, i'm not positive but i think the engines and clips are only uncovered for the photo because it looks like there are some covers laying behind and on some the engines.

I was going to point out the part about them being covered also because obviously in the pic they have covers for the motors. The clips also have their hoods down.
