Wow....this is what I miss when I'm gone for a while. What a bunch of kids. Cool down there turbo. The forum is for good info and that's what was eventually given. Opinions are cool, and everyone has different ideas, so don't bash someone else's....even if they drive a Domestic. We can't all be perfect.

But anyhow......anyone go to the meet last night? I would have, but had a chick w/ fake boobies come w/ me to Denny's. Fake boobs and food....life is grand.

thanks kevin at least someone agrees. I bought a mustang for racing only. The 240 has IRS which SUCKS for drag racing. Mustang.... SOLID AXLE... what nissan car can you name with a solid rear axle thats not 20 years old... opinions are like ***holes, everyone has them, you dont like mine and i dont like yours, Dave and Eric, you both got yourself into a 2 person convo, so I had every right to ***** at you. The rules are there for a reason dave, And i got called out by an official feb 3rd when i went down to race, they would not allow me on the track due to this. now, on another note... Domestics do suck, MUSTANGS in particular. But if you look at what i was working with, 7500 into a 240sx only running high 12s on street tires (the 11 sec pass was only time we ever had slicks on it and that was after it was no longer in my ownership) and only having 4500 into a mustang, that has the potential next saturday to break into the 12s already... Parts are just cheaper, plain and simple, The SR is a bad *** motor as is the RB, CA, KA, VG, VQ etc etc etc... But the parts are 2-3 times more expensive for them than my car. Case and point... my short shifter, was 55 bux, B&M Brand new from summit. My ENTIRE suspension only cost me 500 bux total, wheels i just bought were 120 a pop, and thats 11" in the back 9" up front... and the biggest of all, Camshaft... 165 bux... where as a SET of HKS cams for an SR can run you almost 650... its ludacris how they price that stuff, but because there is more demand for the domestic things, they are able to lower the prices. You all understand the supply and demand stuff works im sure, i know all of you have more than 2 brain cells. the majority of people on here, in this thread, i know and have helped in some way be it cars or other things. If you want to trashtalk me, Email me, cause it doesnt make you COOL to spout off in public, altho it may make you feel better in some sick way i guess.

I've never even had to pop my hood for them. Sometimes I get jealous when my mustang buddy's have to let them see whats up but they dont even take a second look at mine. Thats what I get for bein in the rice club The only thing they bug me about is to put on my helmet for 13 second passes..but they dont even seem to mind.

pfft your lucky then they use to molest my 240 so bad, they saw the gutted inteiror, trunkmounted battery, and the enormous FMIC and they were like open the trunk, pop the hood blah blahblah... it got irritating sometimes. then i finally got my eti card and never had to deal with again, just roll up get numbers and race

I have the rule book because i wasnt sure of the rules. So i got one, and i live by it now. Its the only way to get into a race at moroso these days, they dont skimp anymore. Go to orlando if you dont want rules, if you have hands and feet, you can drive.

I really could care less about what anybody drives, I wouldn't judge somebody by the number of cylinders their car has or where it was mad, thats stupid. I wasn't going to even put my 2 cents into this whole deal but I jumped right on, s*** was startin to piss me off.
