And i myself will be racing that saturday night in the mustang challenge as part of the race weekend. I will be there friday, sat and sun so everyone come down and have some fun. BRING YOUR CAR JR! i wanna see you run it instead of the XAT guys, and ill help ya out a little bit with the suspension setup for the track cause it is tricky. at moroso

I cant run my transmission is GONEEEEEEEI have to hold it in gear. Thank god its only 150 for a KA transmission I can kill.I will run it after I get my solids, cams in, and transmission swapped out which will be mid March. But yes I would like you to help me with the car since all I can get it to do from a dig is spin tires when I hit second. See you on the 18th!

Edit: I need to know what Moroso techs look for when they go over your car before you can even run.

dave, this aint my first rodeo brother, remember my 240 was all track teched out. Moroso is strict as hell on FAST cars... and with the POWER jr is making, his car should be easily 11s with good set of tires. So there could be alot of things he might need that you dont.

well about that inspection at moroso like dave said as long as u have a bayyery tied down and seat belts and tires and they are prolly gona ask u how fast u think ur gona go u can always say like 13s i think if u run like mid or low 12s u needa helmet and lower than that a roll cage so if u happend to just run a high 11s run they wont let u run again but u may wana chek the web site its different all the time sometimes they chek sometimes they dont depending on whose doing the inspection stay if u go try to stay away from the really old guy

yo, anyone need their driveway pressure cleaned? me and my buddy are doing it as a weekend business... we got all the right equipment for the job. we use a 1,200psi pressure cleaner, we acid bath the driveway first, then use the floorscrubber, and follow that with the pressure gun.

any normal size driveway $50 | double sized/U-shape driveways are $75 (walkways included)

we are trying to collect jobs for the following weekend (16th-17th) just let me know before then and we will be there. tell your neighbors and friends.. it will sure help us get out business started

just figured id mention, normally, if you hire a company to do this, they charge by the size (sq. ft) and it on adverage would run you $100+

half the price, same work.... get yo **** cleaned fools.

there will not be any lines left over, the floorscrubber spins 2 pressure hoses very fast 1.5inches above the ground.

Jorge, im at the track every weekend. 13.99 or faster helmet, 11.49 or faster, 6pt cage, 13.99 or faster with drag radials you need driveshaft loop, 12.99 or faster without drag radials, you need driveshaft loop, 9.99 or faster, engine diaper needed, as well as harness and fire jacket. ALSO, if battery is mounted in the trunk, you need a kill switch on the outside of the car (doesnt need to be permanantly mounted)

With JR making 500ish HP at the wheels. He should easily run an 11.99 OR FASTER if he launches the car properly... Which i can show him how to do very easily with some suspension setup ON STREET TIRES

He will need the following

Driveshaft LoopHelmetBattery Tiedown and (killswitch if mounted in trunk)and some big brass balls cause itll be a whale of a ride down that track lol

I dont think anyone wants to argue with me either... this all comes out of my personal "Little black book" seen below. I dont write the rules, i only follow them. Moroso is under new management, they are clamping down hardcore... Sorry guys

Phil

Hate to rain on your parade, but all 240sx's come stock with a driveshaft loop which is necessary to hold up the two piece driveshaft. Now unless JR has an upgraded aluminum one piece driveshaft, he wont need one. But you got everything else right on the money.

One question though what is the time you need to run to have a battery kill switch w/o a relocated battery?

hate to rain on YOUR parade... thats not an SFI approved "driveshaft loop" its not even a friggin driveshaft loop man, thats a CARRIER BEARING which is needed to support the driveshaft. Driveshaft loop is to be mounted 6 inches from the Front UJoint on the driveshaft and must be made of 1/4 inch steel. AS PER my book. Any other arguments?

If the battery is mounted up front, as long as its tied down, no need for a killswitch
