I'm not going to make it... but I greatly encourage you guys to not drive like a**holes on the Dragon or any of the other roads leading up there.
In the first post there was a comment "Turn in, break, yank the E, counter and power on."
If you try to drift the Dragon while others are on the road (especially bikes) you will have an exciting exchange with the locals that don't appreciate that kind of behavior.
1) Make sure your car is road worthy, I would recommend some better brake fluid (Motul 600 or ATE Super Blue) to be on the safe side. Also good tire tread, weather can change pretty quick in the mountains.
2) Stay in your lane, never cross into the oncoming lane. Ever.
3) Drive within your limits, don't let others around you pressure you to drive beyond your ability. I saw an S2000 go into side of the mountain because he was trying to keep up with his buddies.
4) Did I mention, stay in your lane?
5) Remember that it is a public road, and it is patrolled by cops. And they give tickets. Check local websites to see recent police officer activities (some weekends are heavier than others).
http://www.dealsgap.com/ has a weekly update.
6) Watch out for semi's on the gap. They send people off the road regularly. Check the Tree of Shame for proof. Or watch this video-->

I am just trying to help. It only takes one to spoil the bunch, and certain groups have bad reputations at the Gap. Please be respectful and safe when you guys go up there.
It really is paradise and makes me hate Florida (which is flat flat flat). Have fun guys
