Some of the following info has been taken from the 8th Gen Civic forum. They are going to be at the Dragon, the weekend after us.Apparently this is a yearly event for them.So... since most of us are Dragon Virgins, I figured a little wisdom from our FWD i-Vtec friends could help us out.

Who - Nico RB Forum guys and guestsWhat - 1st Annual RB meet/cruise of the DragonWhere - Deals Gap/Tail of The Dragon/US-129When - Sept 3 - 6Why - Meet your fellow Nico RB members, check out each others cars, hangout and have fun.Plus ride the legendary TOTD.How - Drive your RB powered whatever. Trailer it or Drive the DD if your apart of the NRRBA

Ok, so when we get to TOTD, what are we going to do for about 4 days??Ideas anyone????Car show - RBBA Award, Longest running NRRBA Award (probably me lolz), Farthest Travelled,Most Creative swap,BBQ - They were talking about KOA Campground in TN, might be one closer to Robbinsville.Photo shoot – Someone bring a wide angle lens!!Cruise - The Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Pkwy, Fugitive DamSwap meet - Bring your extra parts & Bring your Cash!!

Accommodations

We'll be staying in Robbinsville, NC.It's the closest town.It has Gas stations, Drug Store, Grocery Store, etc..This town also has Cell Service. On the Dragon there is none.So 2 way radios or CB radios are going to be the only other way of communication.

The following are based upon group of ~40, Sept 3-6.

****OK now that I've got your attention.***Take a look at hotels and tell me which one you want to go to.

I'm more partial to the Fontana Village. It looks like the nicer hotel and everyone stays there (minis, miatas, mustangs, civics, dsms etc......)Plus its only a little bit more $.

POST UP AND LET ME KNOW!!!I want to call up the hotel and get this setup before someone else books that weekend.

Dunno exactly where they are. Those pics were taken from here:http://www.flickr.com/groups/motd2009

d356bud - GO!!!! if not you'll regret it.Even if your 240 isn't behaving pull up in a DD.It's gonna be a EPIC Road trip

Bri-man,

I'm stoked about this, but I'm probably going to be taking the 2JZ (better seats and AC! ) but that's still up for debate.

Ryan- whatever bro as long as you come out.If my 240 isn't reliable by then I'm gonna be rocking the DD Altima. But I'm gonna bust my @SS to get her reliable for the 28 HR round trip ride.

Right now I'm debating if I should throw my oil cooler in there or not. Still gotta get lines and adapter though.

John- thanks trying to keep everyone motivated I'm going to call up and set up the group rate.

Silviagp- come out!!!! HxCnismo is coming from Cali! !!

OK, I'm officially going to setup the group rate for Fontana Village. I will post the phone number to call and reserve your room.Make sure you mention NICO RB Club.

Brian,

Awesome. I had said Fontana Village. The place looks nice, and I enjoy creature comforts.

You can never go wrong (for the most part) with an external oil cooler.

Evils14 - I added you to the list. Thanks

Anyone have any ideas for activities? Ryan and I were thinking about a BBQ and a p0ker run. I guess during the BBQ we could do a car show or/and a swap meet.

Post up your ideas guys.!!!
