I would be down for Nashville or Deals. Although, I don't know if I will be taking the RB or the 2J.

The major issue with Deals Gap, is that .. the place is crawling with squids.. and it is heavily patrolled.

Your all lucky. I live in new hampshire. Top right hand corner of the map. Florida is too far and NC is too far.

Anyone want to let me live in florida with them. Or atleast register my car there so i can drive the dam thing!

funny you mention me...but deals gap is about 45 min from school for me.great fun to drive and if that gets old then there is the whole blue ridge parkway to drive, which runs from midway thru TN all the way to VA iirc.loads of nice roads to drive on, just sucks getting stuck behind tourists.

im down for an event sometime.

If its in deals gap I will be there and my one spot open on my trailor is welcome to somoene that is near ohio. More then welcome to meet up at my home, get our cars ready , stay the night and leave early the next morning. On the way back im willing to bring the cars back to ohio and then from my house you're on your own to get back to your state ect. We need to plan this ASAP that way I can use my vactation time early before someone request the any of the days off before me lol.

Deals Gap sounds great to me - Im not sure of my completion date

im hoping to get it back running in March, will need some tuning since I just got some new goodies (greddy rail, precision 780cc, Q45 throttle body )If all goes well I hope to be test driving in April - so the july/aug should be perfect

Sickness - those pics are AWESOME!!! especially coming from FL, everything is flat and straight.

eh....don't care to get into details...but let's just say honeymoon in january, very fast moving bad weather and nearly falling off.

not so much that i wouldn't go again (especially in the summer) ...but no way the wife will ever go or let me after our experience. and no way i'm going on a trip like this without the wife.

This is what I have but its not as powerful as I would like.In a line of 25 - 30 240's it would not reach from one end to the other.

September should be enough time to make sire the 240 is reliable. If not I'll be rocking the trusty Altima.

Im in for sure. I would love to hit deals gap. I have friends on bikes that do it and say its is an amazing ride and beautiful views. Be a great place for pictures of the cars in the mountains. One thing is though, if it is deals gap, you will want to make sure we don't overlap with any bike rally's going on. There would be a ton of bikes and hard to get rooms.

Yeah deals gap seems to be packed during the summer months, on the bigger car community site has dates given for their cruz in's ect. I know on the other car forum I am on they are going down the same day the SUBI,MR2, LOTUS crowd will be going. Personally if we go any time like labor day it will be packed out the ying yang. When I went down last year with the evo/rx7 forum the road was so patrolled by police that nobody could break the speed limit and was packed (there are more vacation soccer van's then "race cars") . Thats ok with me tho im not going to go to break the laws left and right, a small spiritred drive, big BBQ, hang out with gear heads , and maybe bar hop later that night would be a great time.

Another thing the evo community did was have a small swap meet during our bbq, people that wanted to brought tons of parts and layed them out swap meet style while everyone walked around, talked , and shopped worked out great.
