Welcome back! Good luck getting back into your project. I too have a ka24e engine and I don't know if you found headers but for n/a applications on a budget, check ebAy.

I also got a custom exhaust built for it... 2 1/2" pipe. No cat or resonators.

bought them from a kid off of craigslist... he said they were hotshots...but he also said the exhaust he sold me was for an s13

Man has it been a while since I've updated this...nearly a year...unfortunately not much progress has been made on the vehicle, I've just been busy with school, moving, the navy, and the biggest set back of all (for me), figuring out exactly which path i want to go with this thing. Biggest problem right now is trying to get my mind set on one engine (ka24de-t or sr) and following through with it.
The ka intrigues me because 1: Long blocks can be bought for <$500 2: Availability of replacement parts 3: Not nearly as many people do a ka-t so it adds that "cool" factor.
Sr seems to be more supported and noteworthy and has a wider range of aftermarket parts. I'm looking for something that will give me the best learning experience so later on down the road i can have a wider base knowledge if i'm looking to upgrade the power plant.
This last year hasn't been completely wasted though... I did put some cheap Godspeed coilovers and rucas on there. I also installed a megan front strut bar, and a walbro fuel pump, and a z32 vlsd.
And so this is how she's sitting currently...for some reason this awful picture is the most recent representation of the car.
I also purchased a 01 xterra and i couldn't be happier.
