I have gotten so used to FireNico I dont even notice it anymore. Its like adblock. Once you have it for a while, you just get used to Nico being extra awesome, then when you browse form a different computer its like WTF.
Maybe a reminder for me to update FireNICO for Firefox 3.5?

Give me few hours and a couple of beers... i'm about halfway done fixing a bunch of bugs. :P

We need a thing like this for chrome.

I thought FF was godly until I tried Chrome. Chrome is much faster.

Getting close... Chrome has greasemonkey/extension support in developer builds. I've made a few attempts but not until they support an official way to install them. Too confusing with all the flags/directories to get things to work.

btw... FF3.5 is just as fast as Chrome :P (in barebones no extensions installed)

Necro bump. Just reinstalled everything and Firefox is up to 3.6 now, which makes this plugin out of date. Just an FYI to anyone that can update it to work with the new browser, or to someone who can tell people (ie ME) how to force firefox to load plugins even if they aren't version compatible.

Holly hell. I just spent more than 2 hours reading all that. Congrats to Dustin for getting what is rightfully his, but it raises questions. I think we will need Greg in here to answer, though he may not want to.

NicoClub is on ZeroForum, or some form of it, yet we are still up and running. I assume Greg was leasing the software rights from Rely net, but now that will be no more. Im guessing that the lease will now transfer to Dustin.

Now this in itself means little, but it makes me wonder. With Dustin back with the reigns of the software, what changes, if any, will he decided to make. The way I take it from reading, he is better versed in programming, which could turn into better software, if he decided to go that route, but I guess my head is sort of spinning.

Greg, get your butt in here and tell me what this all means. Just dont try and splain too hard, we wouldnt want your nose to start bleeding.

Ian, the lawsuit is not affecting NICO. Read the first post in this thread: zer...-read

That thread is indirectly related, but should explain why anything that happens with relynet and ZF will not affect us.

Lets please leave discussion of this lawsuit off the forums. NICO was never involved, and we don't need any rumors started that anything is going to happen to NICO. We are growing, and will continue to grow, and this lawsuit will not affect us in a negative way by any means.

Boy, I must have been tired last night after all the reading. I sounded all kinds of conspriacy theorist in that post.

Im not trying to stir up any controversy, so I will leave the whole lawsuit business where it be. I had a feeling the above link had to do with what Im talking about, but it leaves me with a butt ton of questions. Im a curious person, especially when it comes to Nico, so you must forgive me getting my undies all knotted up. I guess I will just have to bite the bullet, and let you Greg, and Matt do what you do best, You've never steered us wrong yet.

You gave me a peak at the Christmas presents, now I want to shake the crap out of them.

/end thread jack.

Update is installed, and so far so good. There are a few new features that I'm really digging. So far no bugs.

I am running Firefox 3.57, on Ubuntu.

http://nissansportmag.nicoclub.com/ Needs to be added to the list.

So far so good. I have not spotted any errors yet, and I have browsed, as well as posted.

/Edit

I just added the FireNico filter to my Adblock profile as well. I didnt notice any difference, but hey, that means its working.

i went ahead and pushed up the update. I'll have to look over that nissansportmag site a little closer as FireNICO won't invoke on the site (template must be different)

also... for those who prefer Chrome over Firefox - i'm waiting on 2 bugs (saving data) in the dev channel to be resolved before I can port over the userscript.

Looks good so far.

This means it is tested on Windows 7 and works, BTW. (You can add that to the site notes)

How do you configure the program to your liking?
