I don't think it'd be the first, there are several badass verts out there...

I can't recall any specific feature articles offhand, but I'm betting there have been a few.

Hey I never got to ask you but did you ever replace your original top or do anything to it? (replace top, replace motors, etc.)

Haven't touched it.

I probably should put the top up on occasion, it's probably rotting in there.

It's been up twice since I bought the car.

Yep - It just wouldn't have anything under it.

Wheels are old-school Work Equips that were on an R32 imported by Motorex.

have you contacted andy's autosport (andysautosport.com) regarding a hood? i'm pretty sure they'll custom fab pretty much anything you could want. i've never personally dealt with them, but i hear they're good. it's worth a call at least. if anything, maybe they'll sponsor the site...

AZ I have 2 questions:1) Which 5speed transmission did you use (from which 240?)2) Are you gonna take her to the track or is she just a car for cruising?

1) All I know is it's an S13 5-speed. I got it for free from a guy who was moving. I'm a sucker for free crap.

2) Possibly - I'd like to see what she'll do in the 1/4-mile, but the track probably has some gay rule about rollbars or putting the top up.

I do know this: Built motor + 1bar of boost + 4.36 VLSD = HOLY CRAP.

ZOMG! Greg you sure your arms won't snap from having to do all that shifting. We do get concerned about you in your later years

Btw, the vert is officially too hot to handle now.

LOL -

I have a 6-speed, 2 5-speed and 2 4-speed manual cars... The Q remains automatic.

My right arm and left leg will likely be the only parts that stay in good shape.

I think you should get a differential swap. Either s15 helical or some sort of clutch diff. Viscous diffs suck, especially for that much power. Hell, I hated mine, and I'm still running a stock ka. Definately keep that 4.36 though. I reused my 4.36 gearing for my current diff and it's great.
