How is it, that the one and only demi-god of this board, owns one of the wickedest street verts in the US?

Damn...this forum has officially gone crazy. I mean, look at the damn rides here!!! I'm about to quit b/c I can't keep up. I thought I had big/nice dreams of a super vert...but dammit....everyone hooking up everything around here...sheesh. Kudo's to you AZ...

Did you try an Origin hood? It says it's raised to clear top mounts and such.

not meaning to hi-jack your thread Greg, but I heard you are using the bikirom. how do you like it and how hard was it to tune/install? I live in phx myself and have a 93 vert. I have a full turbo kit for it uninstalled. I just need some gauges and a fuel controller before i put it in. talk to ya later, Alex.

Hey Alex, no problem!

I am NO expert on the Biki - Matter of fact, I'm BORROWING this one from Fahaka (Morrie) until mine arrives.

George (sil8ty) and Champa are both very skilled at tuning with the Biki.

I know this: It idles perfect, it decelerates without stalling, it doesn't backfire, it's running a tad rich, but other than that, it's PERFECT.

We'll have to meet up soon - Have we talked before?

p.s. Thanks Chi - You rock.

What up cuz?

George is the man...he needs to this **** for a living...and Champa too, "Are your parents home"

Regarding the hood you sould cut out the areas that don't fit and make power bulges to clear...that would look sick.

If your hood doesnt close why dont you just lift the back up by shimming it with washers for a temp fix till you find a hood that fits or leave it like that if you like that look

It's going to look great as a show car.

Greg, is it a huge decal just like 350z has?

That's exactly what I thought, but... On the other hand, if the hood has to go up really high for clearance, it looks ghetto in my opinion. It has to go up just about right. I'm not a huge fan of lifted hood. Aren't they played out? Haven't seem them much these days.

Whoaa..!!! Greg, that's a beautiful piece of machinery there. Definetely the hottest vert in the USA AFAIK..... Maybe a 300Z hood scoop will do for the clearance issue??

heres a temp solution to the hood, put washers under the hinges, that should raise the back of the hood up. if you still need more space, you can hack off some of the hood bracing where you need to. it should work, i think....... but hey what do i know im 15 lol

(BTW sorry to thread jack but i dont want to make a whole thread for one scentence, my cars paint job is done ill post up some pics when i find a camera)

That's the decal kit she'll be getting - All-black is great, but this thing needs some press coverage, which means color and contrast.

I promise I won't let it get riced.

As far as the hood, I'm WAY ahead of you guys. Already got a 300ZX NACA-duct scoop frenched into my stock hood and most of the bracing cut out...

Hood's pretty "floppy" now, haha. Still not clearing the TB and coldpipe very well, so I may have to do some cutting there...
