I can almost guarantee you that within a month, you'll realize how horrible that kit is, you'll take it off, sell it to some other ricer, and have some money to actually treat your car to some things it needs. so it's all good.

I'll try to be serious. There's hope, but there is also 2 tons (thats 4k lb) of body work to be done UGH. I think aircraft remover will be your new sponsor because hopefully it can remove fiberglass resin that's probably all up in yo bumper moldings.

Hopefully the morons didn't have time to mess up the interior.Altima was worth more sry man u win some u lose some. iirc those altimas still had the non vq35de so it's not so bad.

That really sucks because the bumper is molded to the fenders and the sideskirts are molded as well. I recommend taking a crow bar and try to pry and chisel that s*** off. Sounds like that dude might have gotten the better deal. If I could trade that for an altima I wouldn't think twice about it.

really. you guys would've kept the 00 altima? ive done some research on squeezing some extra power out of the altima and it seems like im stuck in the gen that had like no potential. its either they turbo the 1st gens or the 3rd gens.

For what you could have sold the Altima for, you probably would have had enough to pick up a plain body 240sx with an SR in it. Or even a later model 300zx if you were looking for power..

OP, you are going to have a b*tch of a time removing that molded on body kit...

If you lurked here for a while before you bought the car, I don't understand how you could ever get the idea that that 240 looks cool... Previous owner failed bigtime.

Body kit removal should be a high priority. Almost as high as restoring mechanical integrity.

You could have sold that Altima for around $4k-$5k if it was in good condition. Then you could have bought yourself a clean car that hasn't assueredly been beat upon...

Chalk it up to a lesson learned. And if you are really in your mid 20's, you really should start maturing your automotive tastes...
