You have done an electric fan conversion on your '03? Do you have any pictures or tips? Did you go with one large fan or two smaller fans? Does the conversion provide sufficient cooling for the engine for city and highway driving?

The electric fan conversion is my next project and I haven't really done much research on it so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! (We should probably make a new thread)

P.S. Sorry for thread jacking

i have a 10" and 12" with the electric thermostat so i dont have to manually turn them on. it does really well. ive only had one time it overheated but that was solely with the 12". other than that i can run wide open through town and it wont ever get above where its supposed to.

I went 100 yesterday for 30 secs when some 95 integra wanted to race me. We started at a stop from an intersection on a highway, floored it i went to 100 while he was still trying to get to 60. When I got to 100 he was 7 car lengths behind. 143hp vs 240.

Hahahaha I like the red "Slow Down" warning light on the photoshopped dash!

You guys are nuts! I wouldn't go over a 100 mph in my QX4 with 56K miles, let alone a truck with over 100K miles!

And even in the best of conditions, there are cars ment to go over 100 mph and cars / trucks that are not. My feeling is that my truck is not (safely that is).

It handles like it does at 60, there are no vibrations, and it hugs the road

I got it up to about 92 downhill with a tail wind. The engine was shaking like it was about to blow at 5000rpms in 5th gear. I had old oil in it which might affect the performance at top speed.

At 110 I hit the gov. I also noted that my speed is off according to my gps its good in my other cars. But I have been 100 for at least a hour straight before. for a truck at that speed it runs pretty good
