Hi guys.. i just purchased my 07 M35 with 49K a few hours ago.. and loving it.. and have been thinking of getting this elite warranty.. After reading these posts.. but wanted to know if it matters where we purchase these warranties. This Courtney lady seems like a great person to purchase from.. im just out here in the west.. does it matter where I am at?

I purchased an extended protection plan from Courtney yesterday. She asked me to correct the inspection fee. It should only be an hour of labor at the most. If you had a service done in the last 30 days that may cover it. If there are more questions please call her at 480-941-0055 or email her at [email protected] or [email protected] I am very happy with her and the service she provides. Merry Christmas to all

I just dropped off my 45 for an oil change, squeak check and the inspection. They are charging me $180 for the inspection. I guess the cost will vary between dealers.

I'm making this thread (so it can be added to the FAQ sticky) in which we can help other members out who are looking for the best deal on an Elite warranty.

Right now, I know of two places to get the warranty from that have good prices:

Courtney Mutema @ Infiniti Of Scottsdale (Arizona)
Phone: 480-295-4174

Daniella Krasnopolsky @ Circle Infiniti (New Jersey)
Phone: 732-567-5547

Here is some information about the warranty itself and what it covers: Link

Please fill out the following if you have an Elite Warranty:

Dealership Purchased From:
Person Who Sold You The Warranty:
Price You Paid:
Coverage/Terms You Got:
Other Information: (such as what model car, how many miles you had on it when you bought it as mileage and year decide price, etc.)

FYI, you can also get this coverage directly from the underwriter / insurer.

I wanted to see if I could get some clarification on the Scottsdale and the Circle Infiniti Warranties. Initially I was confused by the name "Elite program" and thought it to be the same one Infiniti USA offers. I gave Infiniti USA a call, and they mentioned that both of these offers are not the true "Elite" warranty and are not acknowledged by Infiniti (Im not saying they will not accept it for repairs; just that Infiniti is not the provider). This brings up the question in my mind of what the difference is between the original Infiniti Elite Warranty (or manufacturer warranty) vs this one. Are they your usual extended warranty company with an Infiniti Trademarked name only. Has anyone used this warranty? Does it avoid to fix rattles as most warranties? I have an extended warranty already, but do not like it very much so I am willing to change. Thanks guys.

I just used it for a bunch of stuff (click here to view my thread) and didn't have any problems.

I'd be interested to know the difference as well as I didn't know it wasn't an Infiniti backed warranty.

Wow... You definitely have been getting your moneys worth. I have a rattle on my rear due to the emergency brake pads being loose (the Service bulletin is ITB05-040), but my warranty does not want to cover it as rattles are not covered only total mechanical failure. I have Total Protection Plan by Prizm (what the dealer offered) and paid $1750 for 3yr 36,000 mi. of noncoverage.

You get a prorated refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. I get about $1450 back. I called the dealer I bought the car from just now and they said they are willing to pay for the repair at their cost and give me a loaner since the warranty will not cover the repair. This is definitely a kind gesture from them, but I wonder how many times they will be willing to make accomodations for me. Im still in limbo and not sure what to do: cancel or not to cancel. Any opinions?

Well...I dunno. But my experience with the Elite warranty, so far, has been 100%. However, I happen to have an AWESOME dealership local to me so...that might help.

Dealership Purchased From: Circle Infiniti
Person Who Sold You The Warranty: Daniella
Price You Paid: $1700
Coverage/Terms You Got: 3 year / 36K mi.
Other Information: 2007 M35 Sport - 59,402 mi. when I purchased warranty

I originally shopped for my Elite warranty at my local Infiniti dealer, Alexander Infiniti. They are less than a mile from Nissan North American HQ, so they talked about how they could get me a great deal being so close. Quoted me "VPP pricing" that wouldn't be beat. I need to go back and find the quote to tell you exactly, but it was around $2400.

I found this thread and called both Daniella and Courtney for a quote. Courtney would not return my calls after 2 voicemails... and apparently she likes to come in after 1PM a lot so she wasn't around to ever answer the phone. So F her.

Daniella, on the other hand, was awesome. She was very nice and accomodating. Even followed up after the transaction to let me know she had received everything properly and I was good to go. Best part was that I didn't have to pay taxes being out of NJ.

This thread should have alot more post as I have sent Daniella at least 20 members which used my name as a reference (Freddie from New Jersey).

I don't make a penny off this just wanted to help other members save some money .

Not only did Daniella save me money on the warranty she also gave me a payment plan which made it that much easier for me (I think it was 25% down with 11 payments). She even saved me the $180 inspection fee that the local dealer wanted to charge me.

I ended up going with Courtney of Scottsdale. Daniella had a good price but I'm from NJ and so is that dealership, that would of tacked on a huge tax to the final price.

Dealer: Infiniti of Scottsdale
Person: Courtney
Price: $2,939 (because I waited too long to get it), no payment plan, upfront.
Coverage/Terms: 4 years/48K miles
Vehicle: 2007 M35x with 51,909 miles, if I would of got the warranty when I first purchased the vehicle, it would have been lower.

Price You Paid: $1653 (includes finance fee, 25% down, $112.70 for 11 months), cash price about $140 lower.
Coverage/Terms You Got: 6 yrs / 82K mi. ($100 deduct.)
Other Information: 2010 G37x Sedan (build date: 11/09), 23K miles.

On Monday, Daniella will FedEx me the paperwork. I've already canceled the 3rd party warranty I previously bought (Century Automotive).

*****

EDIT: Courtney called me back and offered me same 6 yrs/82K mi. warranty for $1670 which is a little higher (cash price about $160 lower), but since I'm financing it, she's allowing me to pay only 10% down and $88.41 for 17 months. I may be giving her the warranty business instead since I don't have to come up with 25% down that Daniella is requesting.

I got a 4 year /48,000 mile warranty when I bright my car in January. I paid 2000 for it. It was paid with my downpayment. I have used it twice and I must say, it is worth it is far. Fixed the side view mirror that was getting stuck when I went in reverse. Also fixed a tps sensor. I haven't really had many other issues as yet, but I would def say it's worth it.

Hello, new owner here. I bought this car on Ebay from a dealer in Florida earlier this month and it seems to be in very good condition. The Infiniti service records indicate extra maintenance (including premium 15,000 service), but the front of the air filter was black when I checked it and the cabin filter was also pretty dirty, so I don't know if either had actually ever been changed. I don't like spending the money for an extended warranty, but an aftermarket warranty did pay off very well years ago when my 1997 Q45 needed repairs at about 90,000 miles. The Nico forum was very helpful in keeping me informed about maintaining the Q45 then, and I am delighted to find this M35 forum now. The M35 is such a great car that I would like to keep it a long time -- and now I have another reason to. I worry about things like the cost of replacing electronic components such as cd players, various computers, window motors, engine electronics, not to mention the mechanical components. Thanks for posting this thread and for all the useful information available.
