I called a near by dealership to get warranty for my car. I was quoted 2 years or 24,000 miles for around $2400-$2500. In order for them to issue me the extended warranty, they want me to bring my car in for inspection. I'm not worried about that part, but my question is. How does it work when I call dealerships out of state like the two that are on the FAQ page. Oh and my car has roughly 86k :mike

Courtney can definitely help with excellent prices - I don't recall whether they need an inspection. But, there may be a waiting period to make sure that people are not taking advantage of pre-broken items before buying the warranty extensions. :)

Daniella gave me the best deal:

I think it was $1,450 for 2yrs/24k miles $0 ded. with 11 month payment plan.
no inspection fees and all paper work was done with over-night shipping for free. My M was just about to hit 60k

I have referred her about 30 people in the last 1.5yrs (Freddie from Jersey City)

waiting period is 30 days, Infiniti will send you a letter to your house.

Good luck

Getting a 48mon/48K with $100 deductible for almost $1950.

M35 2006 with 27500 miles.

Looks like the price varies as you put more miles.

There are other options aside from the Inifiti offers. I bought my car from Carmax (used) in 2012 with 63,000 miles and normally I would not buy a car that age or with mileage that high but my 2012 6-month old Escalade was T-boned and totalled by an F350 truck and even with gap paying the balance of the loan off, I had just put 15k down and had not built my savings back up in those 6 months. Basically I had no more car payments but I also had no car!
I didn't want another huge SUV and the only other reg car I really liked was the M. This one looked brand new, obviously well cared for, and the previous owner was an Infiniti sales rep so it likely had reg maintenance. The bourbon interior really sold me.
Carmax offered me a 72-month, 72,000 mile warranty for about $2,500 with $50 deductoble at Carmax and $100 deductible for any other place including infiniti dealerships. They even offered to add it to the loan instead of making me pay up front but I paid it separately so there would be no added interest. Draw-back is that it's not transferrable if I sell the vehicle. They only offer this maximum waranty on certain models (probably just the dependable models) and Florida seems to be one of few states where it is available. They are betting that you sell the car long before any pricey repairs.
I reviewed the covered parts in detail - it covers the same items that the new Inifniti warranty covered including all electronics - radio, NAV, computers, AFS, LDW, GPS, all engine parts excluding water and power steering pumps, all cooling ( except radiator) and transmission and differential parts, all A/C parts, all emisions including converters but not mufflers or resinators, all labor on covered parts, but no struts, shocks, brakes, hoses, or maintanence items.
So basically I have near-new coverage until 135,000 miles or 6 more years - whichever comes first. I have no doubt I will use up my $2,500 purchase price before 135,000 miles.
I have used the warranty twice at the inifiti dealer for a loose muffler and NAV screen replacement. No issues with them getting paid. They give the outside vendor a CC# to get paid electronically at time of service.

Just wanted to pass along some updated information regarding this warranty for anyone looking into it...

I spoke with Courtney in AZ for a quote on an 08 EX35 with 40,500 miles and was blown away by the remarkably good pricing offered on the servie plan. I asked if they were still giving a cash paid discount, which they no longer are, but that's because she's only charging $10 over their cost for the plan! Sounded pretty hard to believe, but comparing the quote I received for a car with >40k miles it seems believable.

2008 EX35 with 40,500 miles
Courtney (AZ)
3 years 48k miles - $1309
4 years 60k miles - $1829
$100 Deductible

I drive more than 12k miles per year, but would imagine that a 36m/36k with a $100 deductible would be around $1000 based on the quoted prices above....a vehicle with under 40k would be even cheaper. This seems like a hell of a price for 3 years peace of mind that full warranty coverage gives for a $1300 price tag.

I also wanted to see if anyone had any further information regarding a post above that mentioned that this warranty coverage isn't "genuine" infiniti elite? From what I've read it doesn't seem to matter regardless since this warranty offers excellent coverage at a good price?

Seems to be legit to me - Plus, we do business with both Circle Infiniti and Scottsdale Infiniti, so if there were any issues, we'd certainly be on the horn with them!

Shop around - I had a great experience with the warranty service discussed in the thread at: nissan-infiniti-extended-warranty-infor ... 37453.html

Regardless of which you choose, it's a good investment, considering the potential for some pretty expensive stuff going wrong. I wouldn't own a newer high-end luxury car WITHOUT a warranty... Period.

I called a few places for the elite warranty. Courtney Mutema from Scottsdale Infiniti and Sherry Horelick (she is the new Daniella) from Circle Infiniti do have the best prices by far. Their prices are identitical and both are very professional and easy to deal with. I checked with my local dealers (Santa Monica Infiniti & Metro Infiniti), both were around $600-$1200 more expensive than the quotes I received from Courtney & Sherry below. I'll probably be getting the 3 yr warranty from Sherry as she was very nice and responsive during my process of getting the quotes and asking questions. Courtney was great too, but Sherry's customer service was simply amazing.

2010 M35 with 48,500 miles (quotes below are all with $100 deductible and up-front payment)
3yr/36k miles - $1429
4yr/48k miles - $2129
5yr/60k miles - $2989

I noticed most of you interested in this plan had low miles. Does my vehicle need to be below a certain Mileage to qualify? I have 76k on my vehicle, can I still buy any of these plans?

You can still buy it as long as you're under a certain mileage (you will have to call them to check). but once the vehicle is over 50k miles, the price will jump signficantly (both courtney and sherry advised me to make sure that I get the warranty before hitting 50k since at im at 48.5k).

Hi again, guys--
I'm looking to purchase extended warranty on my newly purchased 2011 M37 S, since its warranty will be running out in the next 1500 miles. I normally wouldn't bother with extended warranties, but this car has so many electronics in it (got the Tech package) that I would hate to be out of pocket for any of it going bad on me, so I like the idea of peace of mind knowing I'm covered for a while.

My local Infiniti dealership quoted me $3,693 for + 5 years or 60,000 miles on the "Platinum" plan. After doing some reading here, it seems CARCHEX was highly rated, so I called them and got a quote of $2,321 for the same + 5 years or 60K miles on their "Titanium" plan. I thought that was a BIG difference in price, and since the posts on CARCHEX was a bit old, I thought I'd ask if that is still the way to go for extended warranties. Is CARCHEX still the way to go or is it too good to be true?

Thanks in advance, guys!

there is a thread on extended warranty - i prefer the infiniti one over everything so there is no questions ask by 3rd party people. Plus if you talk to Courtney from Scotsdale AZ Infiniti she will cut you a deal on those warranty, almost at cost really they only make like 100 bucks off each sale from what i heard as they try to sale as much as possible.

If i can find that thread i'll send you a link

Edit : Found link for thread

elite-warranty-protection-places-to-buy ... 20warranty

Also i would vouch for the Infiniti warranty - i used it twice already and saved me almost 2k in repairs

BTW there are options for a 100 dollar deductible ( i believe they still have it)

i just waited to rack up stuff that needed repairs and gave it to the dealer all at once - only paid 100 bucks - btw there is no limit on what needs to be repaired

Hmmm, saw that thread earlier, but figured it was only for locals in the Scotsdale area. So you can call the AZ dealer from anywhere in the country for this?? I'll give it a go, then, and report back my findings.

GQ you hit the nail on the head when you said the infiniti warranty covers everything. I had an aftermarket warranty FCPP, which is advertised at some nissan dealerships around the GTA (Toronto, Canada) and they don't cover specific electronics which aren't listed on their plans. I went with the highest level they offered which was worded we cover everything, however the fine print revealed they have the right to refuse repairs at their discretion. In one situation my AFS motor in the drivers headlight is on it's way out and they said sorry we don't cover anything related to the headlight. Stick with ONLY genuine Infiniti elite or extended warranties and forget the rest.

In case you didn't know extended warranties are insurance companies. Just keep in mind there's a Joe working there that either allows or refuses your claim based on mood of the system. Which reminds me on a funny but unrelated topic. There used to be a computer shop I frequented a very long time ago. Their prices were based on the previous weeks winnings or losses on horse racing. The employees admitted this too LOL.

No its not, they are like an elite warranty wholesaler basically, the one in scottsdale and NJ - both are great reps and great service - mention you are in the NICO forum, i think i told Courtney that and she bumped it down my plan a bit. Both both sellers are great, i believe half of the members on here ordered from them.

Update: Called Courtney in Scotsdale, AZ but went straight to her voicemail. I then called Daniella, but it seems she no longer works there, and the new contact is Sherry. She quoted me $4,369 for 5 years or 60K miles with $100 deductible, by far the most expensive of the plans I've been quoted this far.

So here's the tally (for 2011 M37 with 58,800 miles):

1. Jim Ellis VW of Atlanta (where I bought the car):
4yr/48K - $2,754 (this is all they offer)

2. Nalley Infinity of Decatur, GA (NOT Elite, but through Fidelity Warranty Services*):
5yr/60K - $3,693
(*) I wonder why they didn't offer me an Infiniti Elite plan :gotme

3. CARCHEX
5yr/60K - $2,321

4. Circle Infiniti, NJ (Infiniti Elite)
5yr/60K - $4,369

All 4 have a $100 deductible and are all "exclusionary", "Platinum" plans.

Price vary so wildly that I honestly don't know what to do... :frown:

try getting Courtney when you get a chance.

I got mine 5 years 60k with 100 deductible for 3300? when i got my car that had 42k when i got it and 2008, unless they went up in price since i got it (not sure about that either)

Finally got a hold of Courtney in AZ, and here are the numbers she quoted me:

60mo/60k, $100 deductible = $4079

She says that their markup is only $10 and rely on high volume sales to make a profit. Her quote beat Circle Infiniti by $290!

That's it, I think I'm pulling the trigger on the Elite plan with them.

Thanks all for all the help.

Oh, I should mention that I found out that if you have less than 50K, your price will be about a grand less than the above.

I believe every 10k miles the price jumps quite a bit for the infiniti warranty.
I would also advise to go with infiniti plan. I have researched aftermarket plans , carchex in particular and would not buy it even being exclusion type policy. I have a sample contract and there are many worrisome terms. For example, 'total failure' clause which states that an item is covered only if a total failure occurs; ie: when a transmission starts slipping they will not authorize any diagnostics or repairs until it fails. This is their favorite 'catch'' but there are others, like overheating clause which states that anything related to overheating is excluded -even if a radiator fails and it's a covered item, they will not cover the engine failure due to overheating. They also have labor rate ceiling set very low (under $85/ hr) I believe which basically means that they won't reimburse you for for any repairs for which dealer bills more than $85, well we all know how much an infiniti shop charges per hour. Again, go infiniti for extended plan!

Somewhat new to the forum, and have not had any luck searching for threads on obtaining a Elite Protection Plan from Infiniti. I have a 2012 M series vehicle that is approaching 35k miles, and I'm in need of a warranty at a good price. Are there any dealers that sell plans at good prices? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I'm not sure how well you searched, but all the info you need is here. It was a little scattered, so I've merged a few threads (including yours). Go to page one of this thread and read through it.

Sorry, I forgot to mark some of the threads I moved as such. I've gone back and re-marked a few so it makes a tad more sense.
