I had some stuff fixed up and figured I'd let you guys know the cause/effect of the stuff.

1) I had the bluetooth microphone replaced as part of the TSB for spotty BT quality. I don't know where the original microphone was, but the new one is here:

2) I had the seat movement issue fixed. They had to replace the entire seat track/frame.

3) I had a wheel bearing/hub replaced under warranty. Self explanatory.

4) I had the transmission computer reflashed with an update. As soon as I got in the car I noticed it shifting better, although this may be because I've been driving a G37 in DS or S mode for a week. lol.

5) I had a fuel fill up issue where, for example, if I was filling up 16 gallons and at like 8 or 9 gallons it would start clicking as if it was full. They had to replace a valve in the filler neck.

you said it is shifting better, what was it doing before?

I have to take mine in to get the seat movement fixed.

The hub was already bad? How many miles are you at?

My mic is already in that location so I guess i dont have to worry about that.

It was jerked between 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 (sometimes). However, it was just a feeling. It's doing it still but less pronounced.

I might have done something to hub when I did a 45hr (round trip) trip to FL 2 weeks ago. Might have hit something or what not.

58k. The transmission thing has been discussed here. Pretty normal on our cars.

I had it done under the Elite warranty so I can't really say. I have a $100 deductible.

Okay finally got my paperwork (they had to mail it to me cause they had so much of it lol and were trying to get my car back for me ASAP - why I love the place). Here is what was changed:

1) For bad wheel bearing:

Both hub assemblies for the front wheel bearings - 40202-EJ70B
Passenger side axle (seized inside that hub) - 39100-EG000

2) The issue with the rattling in certain RPM ranges was just a loose heat shield below the car. Dealer tightened that up.

3) Bluetooth call quality that was sometimes poor -

Replaced the microphone as shown above with part number 28336-EJ20E
Cover (I'm assuming that one in the picture) - 73972-EJ20E

4) Transmission update - doesn't say part number but states old software was found and reprogrammed.

5) Many of us have the dreaded seat moving issue, this is what was replaced.

"Client states drivers side seat is noise when turning or on accel. Found seat slide assembly faulty. Replaced slide assembly."

PIN x2 - 01553-01034
Adjuster Assembly - Front - 87450-EH00A

6) Gas filling issue - clicks off randomly with nozzle in filler tube

"Customer states when trying to fill gas tank pump always shuts off early and will not let you fill all the way. Found ITB. Found fill valve faulty. Replaced Valve and Bracket."

Bracket - EVAP Cut - 17366-EY80A
Ring-O Fuel Gag - 17342-01A00

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope this helps any of you guys with any of the above issues.

My elite warranty has a $100 deductible (got from Circle Infiniti/Daniella in NJ) so that's all I had to pay. My dealer is Lia Infiniti in Latham, NY and I recommend them. Matt (the service guy I work with) is AWESOME at getting your issues taken care of.

No, you need the Elite warranty or you'll have to pay for it.

I got the fuel issue taken care of during my initial mfg warranty. It has still happened once or twice since then. I'm still waiting to get my refund for the overpriced elite warranty I paid for so I can buy from Circle Infiniti.

I should check on that transmission thing too

if you haven't complain about the TSB for the bluetooth mic, then the original MIC is right above the rear view mirror in the same location as your LDW camera area. It's where the reading light, sunroof buttons are.

Seems to be a little better, but honestly, I haven't been using my phone much in the car.

I haven't got any complaints like I did before though. I'm sure it's not great, but at least people can deal with it now.
