AWGD8 - quick question... I have watched your videos, first just the muffler change and then the mid-pipe change also. I do like the sound of the mid-pipe change on top of the muffler.
* Can you tell me if it helped your MPG and acceleration responsiveness?
* Also - Was it a direct swap? I have read some places that you need to remove just under 2 inches so the hooks line up, but I also read that was just for the AWD versions and the RWD versions are the same?
I can probably just take it to a shop to have them do either way, but I was curious to know before I went through the effort!

Sorry, very delayed response.
Yes, you need to cut and reweld the single tube of the midpipe (Y-pipe side) , not exactly sure how much now (but you can use the search button here) I believe NJguy did measure exactly how much.
Then the bracket for the mid pipe can also be cut off and reweld to align with the bushing holder. Pretty easy task when you go to the muffler shop.
This will keep both the exhaust tip flushed to the bumper and don't stick out.
MPG still suck! LOL!
