EVERY NISSAN OWNER read this please

well guys, ive been reading many posts lately, and it seems SOME people here dont 'like the nissan community because of too many stuckups'. I know some people here dont like other cars, specifically Honda, well whenever anyone here says they dont like a honda for some reason, a 24o owner (usually, not singling anyone out here) comes back with 'they dont have tq' and what not. Then it starts a fight because ' if i sold my 24o i cold build a CRX that would smoke you'. I think everyone should have respect for all cars, as almost every car on the planet has potential in one way or another. Sure most people here love 24o's, which is great, however dont' hate on other cars just because they can't drift (we dont have that many great drifters here anyway im sure ). And for all of you honda/acura owners, please try not to retaliate that you could smoke them and all of tha kind of stuff, everyone here really needs to get along. Im sure most of you have noticed a considerable amount of memeber leaving the site (or hardly ever posting) because of this kind of behavior, so please, everyone, lets make it easy on teh Mods and Admins and do our best to get along. Just remember, all of the honda vs nissan is usually opinion, one person may love a great handling front driver that gets good mileage, while another wouldnt give up his (or HER (thats for u HKC)) SR for hte world, and loves to drift, both are great, and both deserve respect. Sorry for the long post, i hope you all understand what im trying to get at, and im sorry for some of the behavior around here lately, i think we should all step it up guys. Im just going to go ahead and say it was the lack of NFL that had most of us in a bad mood lately

Good post Nizmo, I've noticed this as well. My friend has an acura integra that would smoke me alll day long and take me out on the autocross course, but I wanted a 240sx so I bought one. I love hondas, I have alot of respect for all hondas, swapped civic hatch's being one of my favorite cars int he entire world..

honda and acura 4 bangers do get killer mileage, I wish I had another teg for a daily driver as my bird eats the gas, 93 oct at that (well around 20mpg, but still) fun car to drive. I'd so own a honda bike if I had the money and riding skills...

I do until they speak, then I make my decision.

True about the Nissan comment. There are some stupid ones, but I have only seen 2 bad Nissans in my area. That was a hot cheerleader at my school that had blingin hubcaps, with a very loud exhaust on her Maxima and a 240 with APC all over it.

I'm the same way. And it hurts even more when I see an idiot with their 240 thinking they are awesome with their double deck wing and "JDM" this and that, only to watch them trash their car on the road with no idea what they are doing. I love my car, but I'm not gonna trash it or race it, therefore most modified cars will toast me... then again, chances are I won't be racing them either so I don't care. I can have fun driving my car without spending thousands of dollars upgrading it and driving it illegally. The only thing I might have to try is autocross, that looks fun. I have respect or the people who do a quality job modifying their cars and if they like to race, they take it to the track/autocross parking lot, etc. When people post stupid stuff on this board I normally just ignore it, its the easiest way to handle idiots.

then again, it came with the car when I bought it and they aren't horribly ugly or loud, so I save money and just leave them there. I'd replace them if it weren't so darn expensive. I'd rather get a brand new computer, pay rent, and eat this year.

Anyway, hondas are great cars. they are really reliable and can be made reasonably fast, its just the people that rice them to hell with wings and 5" mufflers. but even then some of them are cool, so I try not to make rash decisions. anyway, peace yall.

I agree and feel the same as Zero. They are not personally my taste, but i dont hate them. I do dispise the drivers, whether it be Honda or Nissan, or what ever that act like an idiot and causes wrecks and get the police stirred up, and harrassing everyone.

I hate these kids that saw the Fast and Furious to many times and are causing the problems.

I have even made the anti-Honda statements before. But I know it is not the car, but the owner I dislike.

When I first got my s13 11 years ago the scene was nothing but honduhs and mitsubishi_s. I got no props. No one even knew what an sr engine was because they didn't care. Honduhs and Mitsubishi_s would rev up on me all the time for no reason. Now that Nissans are getting their well deserved props the honda and mitsu communities are getting a little nervous. Well sorry buddy, no one can rev up on an sr engined s13 or s14 anymore...payback time if anyone messes with us now BTW rwd nissans drift BECAUSE THEY CAN LOL

i guess its safe to say we all don't hate honda. in most cases we just hate ricers, of all make and model. i live off a big main st. and every night they would gather and start some Fast furious get together. its gotten up to the point where on my back from work i would have to turn into one of them and dust a couple of them just to get some sleep (*sigh* don't mind my gammar guys)...as you can see i hate them with a passion.

as for they're cars...they can do whatever they want with it. its their money and time. all i ask of them is to give me a break...toss me a bone. i have classes in the morning and work at night

i was with my BF on the highway in his 240 with the SR... and needless to say, we got two hondas trying to race him....(of course my bf didnt lose coz that 5th gen and us were stuck in the traffic so we couldnt go far)

well that's not the funny part, the funny part was that my BF also has a Honda, and he used to drive it till now (he's got his love now ), and he was never harrased by a honda before, always domestics. but now he has a nissan, ppl just tend to harrass him more!!!

the honda vs. nissan thing is gay as s***... seriously, my buddy's s/c'd GSR would smoke half the cars on this sight, but he doesnt brag about it...its a total sleeper...it used to have body kit and all that good stuff (no wing tho;)) and may get another, seriously, they make up in top in wat they dont have in tq. .....all cars can be fast, no doubt about it.... and regarding alot of the verterans and ppl that have been around here not posting lately.... its becuz of all the stupid riff raff... the "how fast will my car be if....", "i have $____ ....wat should i buy", "which intake is best", "stock 240 vs. stock integra...who will win?", "wat kind of wheels should i get" threads need to stop....

we have an FAQ, use it.we have a search feature, use it.we have an online mechanic, use it.we have tech forums, use em.alot of members post their AIM names...u can even use those...

all the knowledge will leave if a bunch of 12yr olds come on and complain and figure out which I/H/E will give the best performance and wat not...u get the idea... this place could eventually have as much knowledge as a forum today about SEGA GENISIS and Fruit Loops. having activity on the boards is great, dont get me wrong, and having new ppl coming in is wat makes the site work, but the stupid stuff needs to be left out.

I think a lot of nissan drivers make the statements because the honda gets the most aftermarket coverage, which I must admit it would be great if we got more aftermarket for the US spec nissans, but driving a nissan is unique and awesome in its own right. Personally I have driven faster in my old honda than in my nissan (the first one, 2nd still not moving), chasing my friend in his new(at the time) WRX , my 87 prelude hit 120 and I felt like it was gonna come apart at the seams, but I wouldnt mind having a 90 as a daily driver to match my 240. I never drifted my 240 and don't really plan on it. Everyone buys their car for their own reasons, especially if price is a factor. No haterade here.
