we have an FAQ, use it.we have a search feature, use it.we have an online mechanic, use it.we have tech forums, use em.alot of members post their AIM names...u can even use those...

all the knowledge will leave if a bunch of 12yr olds come on and complain and figure out which I/H/E will give the best performance and wat not...u get the idea... this place could eventually have as much knowledge as a forum today about SEGA GENISIS and Fruit Loops. having activity on the boards is great, dont get me wrong, and having new ppl coming in is wat makes the site work, but the stupid stuff needs to be left out.

just me $.02 ...sorry guys...i know its dumb, just wanted to say that.

couldnt agree more, i try to refrain from telling every new guy here to search or 'see the FAQ', but sometimes, the new guys just have to look before they post, i help when i can however ;), also, i must point out theres a turbo charged integra type R (o2 jdm) in the newest superstreet (yep, i read that :)) and it is amazing.

i was with my BF on the highway in his 240 with the SR... and needless to say, we got two hondas trying to race him....(of course my bf didnt lose coz that 5th gen and us were stuck in the traffic so we couldnt go far)

well that's not the funny part, the funny part was that my BF also has a Honda, and he used to drive it till now (he's got his love now ;) ), and he was never harrased by a honda before, always domestics. but now he has a nissan, ppl just tend to harrass him more!!! :D
i notice the same thing, when driving in my friends eclipse, we dont get half the revs from hondas as we do in the 93 24o, hell in my car, i usually am in the 3rd lane when two guys run from a redlight.......only to see me burn both of em ;), but yes, it seems like its domestic hates honda, honda wants to prove its still on top to nissan

honduhs were never on top of Nissans, they were just more popular in the states until now ;)

no love for the Toys huh? I'd still like to make a 20r/22r hybrid or turbo 22r '77 liftback Celica....or a turbo MK II Supra, or a turbo 4x4 pickup to kill random ricers that just don't know, and dog the hell out of it on trails. Me personally, I'm trying to love every car and see they're intended purpose.

I think we should all just hate on the Pontiac Azteck, I mean really, wtf pontiac? I think they tried to fill too many niches on that and totally botched it...

Honda however has come along way since the old 1600(?) though, hell Acura paved the way for all the other Japanese luxry cars here if I'm not mistaken, and the Type R integra has great power for the displacement size on a factory naturally aspirated car that the S2000 manages to top. I like the idea of a race car from factory...

when i said 'on top' thats what i meant, not neccasarily performance wise, but as far as aftermarket support and how many fast ones on the street, regardless of what people say about ricers, we've got more fast civics/integras around here than anything, gotta watch who you play wiht nowadays ;)

for clarification, technically my rims are "American Racing". Same company though I do believe. They aren't pretty, but the exhaust actually sounds nice and throaty, but not too load. Funny thing, I passed their factory in Socal on the way home from school for summer... thought I should blow it up or something, but didn't have anyexplosives on me at the time.

And I'm sad the Eagles lost... McNabb was my first round draft pick in both my fantasy football leagues! :(

you drove by the wheel plant right?

I don't think the American Products Company actually makes anything in this country, most everything I see from them is made in Taiwan...

yea that's what's happening now, i mean these hondas are good cars dont get me wrong, but when they try to prove they are better than a SR?! no match there! ehhe :D

i mean even in my stock 240, my bf could beat any car he races, so i guess it all depends on the driver too!

Heh. I've been seeing a lot of kids my age in first-generation Q45s lately. Maybe theyre tired of my big 4.5L V8 kicking their Civic's *** all the time. :)

I dont hate Hondas. I just like my Infiniti better. Glad I gave up the Accord.

American Racing Wheels have nothing to do with APC.http://www.americanracing.com/

They were here long before the APC trend, and my guess is they will continue long after...because they offer decent quality, decent styles, at decent prices. They market to a wide range of vehicle types, meaning they won't come and go with a fad or trend, because they have wheels for the whole automotive market, not just one segment. Back to topic....

I have no hard feelings towards you Nizmo, you have done alot around the altimas area of NICO and you seem to be about the only member holding that area together, ever since I purchased my s13 I havent spent all that much time on the altima boards on here.

well my saints lost pathetically sunday, so needless to say im still pissed about that, and im glad this is getting this many responses, i just want everyone to understand how most poeple seem to be feeling lately, and HKC, there are plenty hondas that can beat a stock SR, sure they're hard to find, but they're out there, just recently i got beat by a turbo charged ITR, turbo civic EX (looked aweseom too, gunmetal TE-37s) and a turbo 4dr civic DX (runs 11.9s on slicks), yea, those def put me to shame, but its cool, gotta give respect where its due

Im going to step in on this conversation. Im a honda/acura owner (couldnt you tell). Personally i think that nissan owners in general are more down to earth and way more fun to hang out with than honda owners. And to tell you the truth every integra owner ive met (with the exception of two of my friends that own integras) have been a**holes to me. Hell i love nissan owners so much that i even have 2 NICO stickers on my car.:D It is sad that honda does get the most aftermarket coverage, but then again look at all the goofy sh*t that there is for honda also. So in reality it probly evens its self out alittle. I also have to agree with most of you that yes honda owners start the most trouble as far as street racing and loitering goes. But you all will be glad to know that im and not your tipical honda owner heres a few examples:1. RICE SUCKS A**!!!!!!!:D 2. Look at my car in my sig. (its not riced out, gasp!!):D 3. I dont street race. (but i used to back in my rice days):oface 4. When i loiter, its only at local tuning shops.5. I cant remember the last time i started trouble.6. I hang out with nissan owners 98% of the time.I just added the reasons for kicks. :D But NICO has not lost all of its non nissan owner members (im still here). So not all is lost!:D

I am also a honda owner... i also hate ricers... when you guys say you hate hondas you mean you hate some of the ricers that drive hondas... well i say i hate nissans... cause i hate some of the idiots that i see that drive them... if you hate the ricer who drives the car... just ssy "i hate ricers"... even though my next car that i'm getting as soon as i sell my car is going to be a 240 with a CA18 motor... all the people in the 240's with engine swaps need to realize... when i had a turbo motor in my crx i ran 13's all day and all night with no problems... and i was running a t25 turbo and boosting 5 pounds... so you need to trelize if a honda puts the same amount of money into his car as a nissan into his... the honda can be just as fast... so get over yourself and just say i hate ricers... and everything will be cool...

From the owner of a CRX that has ran a 13.32 with a single cam 1.6 motor with about 1500 into the motor and turbo setup...

If I could afford it I would have a 2nd gen integra to go with my 240. I just love the little bastards, even though they are uncomfortable to drive because of their seats.

Integras are cool. I was looking at them before I got my previous 240. They're good cars but not much of a value by comparison, IMO.

b16 into an integra? NAH! use the stock B18C1 or B18B of the LS...LS VTEC is a very nice setup...but has nothing on a B20 (CRV motor)with VTEC head. my buddy's gsr is s/c'd and is a sight to see, its gorgeous and quick too. you can check it out along with the rest of close buddies' hondas on my cardomain page in my sig.
