If he taps into that wire for power won't that automatically turn the fogs on if you are using your head lights? I'd rather have it on a separate switch IMO..

GREAT NEWS, my H11 connectors arrived today! I don't have the fogs with me since I left them at my gf's house... but they look like they shall fit and are the exact ones I ordered online.

I checked my e-mail while at my gf's house and told her dad and we're doing it tomorrow around 2pm or so.

Don't want to promise what time the write up will be up but it will be up by tomorrow night. After the fogs are done we're probably gonna go to Ontario Mills to watch Diary of the Dead.

Ok... another weekend... and another failed attempt at installing my foglights.

I got to my gf's house around 2:30 and everything was set up to get this done. We had the bottom cover taken out in a minute and the foglight covers taken out in another minute. That's where the quickness ended.

We spent maybe 2 or 3 hours trying to install the damn foglight itself into the appropriate holes. For the life of us, (My gf's dad, her bro, and myself) we couldn't fit it in the damn hole. We think that the fogs are reversed some how. The left foglight bracket, (the plastic around the foglight housing) will not fit in the left hole because the foglight housing that is attached won't fit into the hole. It is slanted in the opposite direction. When we tried to switch foglight housings with the foglight brackets... they wouldn't switch.

We're ****ing stuck. We even tried moving the mounting points on my bumper but no luck.

PLEAAAAASE. Someone that has fogs installed... can you please take a picture of the inside of your bumper so I can see where the mounts are. And if you REALLY want to be nice, you mind taking out the fog light housing and taking a picture of it.

So another weekend, another disappointment. I thought the foglights would go in in no time and the wiring is what would take forever.

Oh and having fog lights helps you see better in the fog, which is a huge bonus.

Bourne... if you got time get under your car and see if you can at least do the installation of the fogs...

Mine do not fit, no way possible. I'm thinking I got sent the wrong ones. I ordered off that guy when he had the coupe picture up and he said they would fit the coupe... so I can't figure out why they don't fit.

They look just like the ones Jose 3.5 posted on NissanClub. During our attempted install I even busted out the laptop to compare mine to the pics he posted. They look exactly the same. I don't have pics of mine uploaded. I'll do that tomorrow, I left them at my gf's house.

My car currently have stock fog lights, but it can only turn on with low beam. However, I want to get hids for my low beam and fog lights. And I want to wire fog lights to turn on with parking lights. So I need a 4 pin relay shown above? thanks guys.

I'm waiting for the e-bay seller to get the COUPE fogs in because the ones he sold me only work for the sedan.

As soon as he gets them he's going to exchange them for me. I think like another week or so.

I read earlier in this thread that Canadian coupe fogs are pre-wired, does that include the 2.5s as well?
