The AMS junk is a cheap knock off of the msp mani's

To elaborate on Nolimit's #4 some known issues include pin holes in the maniofolds, ports not located properly to match up to the block, and un level mating surfaces

Got my hands on eBay SMIC which I think is same stuff as Godspeed and any other 300zx TT SMIC knockoff on eBay. No I am not using these on my car.

Significant difference is the size of the intercooler and about 1.2" wider than stock cores. Inlet/Outlet are 2" O.D and 1.7" I.D. on both (very restrictive).
Stock plastic inlet/outlet are actually better than aluminum ones with perfect round and transition to the core.

I know our stock motors have made that much but I have my motor out of the car and was thinking this might be the best time to upgrade.

Parts I have bought:

- Stock turbo with upgraded GT28r compressor side.
- 2.5" exhaust and downpipe.
- 575cc JECS injectors.
- Pistons and Rods (stock)
- Z1 chip

I just don't know how stock pistons and rods would hold up at 450whp daily driving in the long run.
For what it's worth. I called SZ and spoke with Greg about my whp goal (500-550whp) and he never mentioned anything about touching the bottem end... so you shouldn't have to change anything in the bottom end if 450whp is your goal.

I agree with you. I haven't updated my thread lately but I ended up buying Wiseco and Eagle combination just to be safe since I will be running GT2860rs and running high boost on track days.

This one Z recently spun a bearing at 600hp on stock TT motor with GT2860s and e85 tune. I guess all engines are different but that's impressive power out of stock motor with only bolt-on upgrades. I would say 500-550whp is pushing the stock motor.
