I just finished seeing microsoft's E3 press conference, and boy does sony and nintendo need to step up their game if they want to survice.

Natal (the 3d body recognition and voice recognition) seems insane!! couldn't stop smilling when the girl was playing the 3d body breakout.

and that paint application was AWESOME!

the part where they had the vitrual boy interacting with the brit girl was beyond amazing. if this works as flawlessly as it did in the press conf, the future videogames will be insane!!!!!

also the 1080p instant streaming of netflix movies is a god send.

I can't wait to see what sony does tomorrow, but I can't help but feel its won't surpass this. and for nintento...well I'm not expecting anything so I can't be disappointed

P.S.: FORZA 3 FTW!!! I hope they put the altima coupe in it this time arround. (they had the 2007 sentra specV the 2007 nissan 350z AND the 2007 Altima Sedan. this time they have no excuse to not put the Coupe one)

Microsoft just knocked everyone on their asses, between the project Natal and all the new games, Sony and Nintendo will really need to step up to the plate. I'm excited about the movies and tv stuff, but with them introducing Facebook and Twitter to Xbox live I was really hoping they would have said that they are going to implement IE 7 to xbox live. Maybe that is something that they will do when the new Windows 7 drops.

I can only imagine how expensive that Project Natal will be when it hits the stores.

I'm thinking a 69.99$ price tag would be nice. and some bundle packs with new xbox for 39.99$ more would be a great price point.

here's a shocker!:

"Microsoft's E3 keynote was so jam-packed the company decided to wait until afterwards to announce what might be the biggest new feature of them all: on-demand access to full retail games. The service will launch in fall with 30 titles to start, and new games will be added weekly. The best part? Purchases can be made directly with a credit card, no pesky Xbox points required."

Didn't get a chance to watch Microsoft's Press Conference yet, but I watched some of EA's. Nothing is really standing out in my mind from EA, but I did miss a good portion of it.

I'm really looking forward to Sony's press conference for more info on the PSP Go, and hopefully on GT5 and GTPortable.

Fingers crossed.

Urgh!!!!! I got invited to this event, I got my confirmation and everything. I couldn't get out of work...

All I can say is....Forza 3 will be the reason I don't get a date later this year. The game looks insane. MS is really doing everything to stay ahead of the game. I was looking forward to a price drop so I can pickup a second 360. The Metal gear game for the 360 also sounds good.

The one thing I hope for the most of the Kojima/MS partnership is not so much that we get future MGS games but that they release not only the classic Metal Gear games on xbox live and that we get a copy of the last MGS that they put out for the PS3. Kojima inferred that we will get the next one but nothing was said of all the other ones.

I am happy as hell that Turn 10 finally put an interior view into Forza 3.

So far just what you see in the videos/screens however people who played at the booths have confirmed that there was a Mercedes suv.

I was crusising around for the car list this morning and could find nothing. The FM series has it's own forum with a lot of info, but EVERYTHING about this game is "To be released"...the only real info you can get is from the screenshots, and really...who thought the 370Z and R8 WEREN'T going to be in the game??? Really? WOW

Anyway, I REALLY hope the coupe is there too, but I think the only reason the Sedan and Sentra were there was because of the Nissan/Forza relationship for FM2...now FM3 is Audi (Six different R8s anyone?) so I have a feeling we might be left out...but I think it will...in my heart! They pulled in the Scion for FM2 one-two years after release...how can they dismiss the Coupe???

But, I am already going to start bugging the Mrs. soon about this...I was talking to her today about it...early Christmas present

I didn't watch the Nintendo coverage, they have nothing that I'm dying to see. I watched most of the Sony coverage and it looks like they are focusing a lot of thier efforts this year on the new PSP Go and I am really psyched to see that they will have a PSP version of Gran Turismo and the next chapter in the Metal Gear saga. Guess I have to go get a PSP now. I'm recording the rest of the coverage to watch later. I really hope GT5 is covered, if not then I'm wondering if they are waiting for Forza 3 to drop to make a final play.

they showed a gt5 teaser with nascar, and WRC in it. also they showed real time damage on cars on the WRC subaru STI. that was nice.

you should check the Metroid Project M trailer. thats the highlight of the nintendo conference and it's really the only thing worth checking (except mario galaxy 2 if you liked the first)

I think this year microsoft dominated.

DId you see the one debute video for FM3 with the Ford GT that spins and hits the wall? It is CRAZY!!! First time in Forza I saw a car leave the ground, and boy did it ever! Hopefully they won't go to crazy with it though...they make Arcade racing games for a reason...

I just watched through the EA and Ubisoft press conferences. Not impressed. Ubisoft seems to have focused the bulk of their offerings this year for the Wii and with the exceptions of the new Splinter Cell (which looks effin awesome) and Assassins Creed 2, the rest of their line up is meh. The James Cameron Avatar thing (which took up the main bulk of the conference) sounds promising, but with out any visuals we won't be able to judge until later this year.

EA, what can say, half of their conference was focused on EA Sports, so meh, it started out with some stupid girly games, again meh. APB looks badass but it is for PC online only, BOOOO. The Sabatuer, can't wait to see more on this, looks like it will be a really good game. The NFS Shift, again can't wait, just hope they didn't go the Prostreet route. kinda just skipped through the bulk of their conference. I will say that you Star Wars fan out their who are PC gamers, you are in for a stupendous treat on the same scale as the old Star Wars Galaxies, only better.

The Metroid game looks interesting. Honestly, though...I'm worried. Nintendo has been falling down a lot with the franchise lately. They need to do some simpler things instead of trying to push it forward. What happened to Metroid Dread? Fusion sucked, Hunters was a disappointment...we still haven't seen Metroid 3 (the best Metroid game of all) ported to a handheld yet.

I'd rather see a 3d/2d hybrid sidescroller for the DS than some stupid Ninja Gaiden wannabe crap.

G4 showed hands on for a bunch of games today, one of which being Modern Warfare 2. looks like it will be kick a**.

I will watch the rest of Sony conference tomorrow. I'm looking forward to see if Codemaster shows any more from OFP 2 Dragon Rising, but it looks like they are focusing their E3 plugs on Dirt 2 and some other game.

Oh, EA and Crytek announced that they are making Crysis 2 and this time it will be on the 360 and PS 3 as well as the PC. It will have a whole new graphics engine and they have promised that Crysis 2 will be the bench mark for every game afterward graphics wise.

I believe that Bethesda is scheduled for tomorrow and one of the major announcements will be about Fallout: New Vegas. Valve is also scheduled for tomorrow with their announcement for Left 4 Dead 2.

Edit: I went on a search and came across this link from 1up.com it lists all the games at E3 that can be viewed A-Z or by platform it will be on
