No timing adjustments although I'm sure I would benefit from it. stock IC, 3-inch turbo-back exhaust, safc, joe-p mbc (sucks), . I'm now running a spearco fmic though.

Nice. 200+ to the wheels on stock setup with exhaust. So I should make that pretty easily after tuning with nothing more than an N1 dual.

Now I just need to get an adjustable FPR and find some place with a dyno.

PROJECTRB240SX wrote:YOU GUYS DO KNOW THAT YOU CAN INCREASE FUEL PUMP FLOW BY INCREASING VOLTAGE TO 18 RIGHT? ALMOST ALL FUEL PUMPS ARE DESIGNED TO WORK AT 18V BUT MOST CARS ARE ONLY 12 VOLTS..... BY UPPING THE VOLTAGE YOU WILL INCREASE THE FUEL FLOW. THIS IS A GOOD BIT OF INFORMATION FOR GUYS ON A BUDGET, I HAVE DONE THIS ON SENTRAS AND IT WORKS GREAT. YES, THE INCREASED FUEL FLOW INCREASES STATIC FUEL PRESSURES.
Sorry for the noob question and getting off topic, but how do you increase the voltage to 18?

Rewire the pump with a relay. http://www.plymouthlaser.com/rewire.htm Yes it's a DSM rewire but same **** for any car just find the right signal wire from the plug.

Ironically, the RB26's had fuel pump voltage control units that actually LOWERED the voltage from 12 V to 7-8 V during low fuel demand situations.

YOU WOULD HAVE TO PUT A RESISTOR INLINE WITH THE CONSTAT VOLTAGE SOURCE OR GET A KIT WITH VOLTAGE AMPLIFIERS.

YOU LOWER VOLTAGE TO REDUCE FUEL FLOW AND RAISE IT TO INCREASE THE FUEL FLOW. 18V IS USUALLY THE THREASHOLD BUT I HAVE SEEN PUMPS RUNNING AT 20V (HOW LONG IT'LL LAST AT THOSE HIGH VOLTAGES IS UNKNOWN). GOING FROM 12 TO 18V YOU WILL SEE ANYWHERE FROM 25%-50% INCREASE IN FUEL FLOW DEPENDING ON THE AGE/CONDITION/DESIGN OF THE PUMP. IF YOUWERE GOING FOR A SMALL HP NUMBER THIS MAY BE A BETTER OPTION FOR YOU RATHER THAN UPGRADING THE PUMP.

Finding a boost leak is easy.

First, get a 2.5" rubber Fernco type coupler form home depot, and a threaded section of PVC pipe to fit inside it. Then, thread in a PVC cap that they sell. Tighten the clamp and the threads good.

Next, drill a proper sized hole, and mount a tire valve (like a bicycle tire valve) and it's rubber so it'll seal the hole up. Now hook it to your intercooler piping just after the turbo and pump it with a compressor for a few secondsit'll pressurize the whole system and leaks will be very easy to listen for.

Good luck.

Good question, because as far as I can see, my rb20 has twin fprs! I don't get it.

woow...$100 for a MBC (ridiculous), it worth $20 of material to me.

you can make your own MBC:

No, there's not 2. As someone on here pointed out, one of them just functions as a dampener. The one on the return line is the FPR, the one on the pump inlet to the rail is the dampener.
