If you're always running that high of a duty cycle you'll probably burn up your injector's coils....

The person you were talking to might have ment that as long as your system can run higher pressures (which changes your static... aka max... flow rate btw... which is what 500cc etc stands for... from memory it's not linear though) you might improve the eff of your spray. Basically higher pressure => better atomization => more complete air/fuel mix => less wasted fuel

ummm well two ppl have told me this...including one a tomei rep so...maybe u liek getting bad gas milage....??? this is at full boost 4th 5th gear....under full tq load...and by upping the pressure u can get away with this...seeing most ppl run 40psi or so...but i do plan on doing a top mount rail and 740cc or 800cc injects soon...

I get great gas milage (for a 500 something hp car with cams) and I'm not maxing out my injectors (850's). I run 3 bar (45psi) for fuel pressure which is stock.

If you are tuned properly, you will not have bad gas milage with big injectors. Cranking up you fuel pressure, however, is just a band-aid for you small injectors and can pop fuel seals, burn up injectors, and makes you fuel pump flow less.

You said it yourself; "and by upping the pressure u can get away with this". There are plenty of things I just "get away with" on my car, but stuff like brakes, tires, and fueling are not one of them.

You might want a better translator or talk to an engineer and not a rep
