Yesterday I was driving to my friends house to help him with his car ( a dsm ) and it was pouring rain! The streets all have about 2 inches of water on them, so i pulled down a street to get to his house and i could barely see 10 feet in front of me. And all of the sudden i see water splashing over my hood and i look down to see water rushing in under my doors as if i was a sinking boat. i quickly popped the hood and got out finding myself in at least 16 inches of water, and ran around to disconnect my battery in hopes to save the ecu (but i doubt it). i had to tow it to his house 3 blocks away and i started disconnecting everything to dry it out. i opened up my tb and water just started gushing out. i hooked up a shop vac to the tb for about a half hour and there was about a gallon of water in it. I currently have a ka-t motor getting assembled at a shop so im thinking about not even messing with the motor in it and just waiting a few weeks to put it in. I know im gunna get tons of crap but w/e

Yeah... that sucks.

Most cars + deep water = fail.

Keep us posted with that KA-T. I remember talking with you at length regarding your setup. You should start a new thread somewhere (here or in the KA-T section) to tell us what you went with and how it comes along.
