Easier said than done

Im waiting on some parts from Enjuku and apparently Phase2 sent me a package but I havent been home to sign for it so no cigar. The weird part is that I havent ordered anything from them, and I havent given them my new address so Im a little interested to see what it is.

I dont see how I could have maxed it out when all I have is a walboro 255 fuel pump, the turbo isnt much larger either so it isnt flowing more air [even if it was I would be running lean, which Im not].

Ill have to have my dad send me another MAF and see if that makes a difference, even though I doubt it will.

Other ideas are always welcome.

True Life: Im addicted to zip ties Fixed driveshaft bracketSo this is why my wideband doesnt work...Found the PS leak..IN THE RACK, Ill be having it rebuilt when I get $$New cold pipe...Uh....what?And final pic of where she spends most of her time

I dont have a 19mm socket thats 3/8 drive so I have to get one of those to replace my CTS. AND MY STUPID a** MISSED A VACUUM LEAK!! Right beneath the throttle body on that itsy bitsy nipple, I dont have anything to cap it with or superglue so it stays for now..

The port at the bottom of the throttle body is not a vacuum port.....

It's a vacuum port that only activates when you press the throttle. It's part of the EVAP system intake aka the charcoal can.

Good to know I was right about something. I dont think that would jack up my AFR this much though...would it?

I had an interview @ Pizza hut for a delivery position and when I walk out [I got a 2nd interview wooo!] my car wont start, and after cranking it for a minute SMOKE comes out of my dash near my wiring and the wires are HOT AS s***!

Im wondering if its the solenoid on my rebuilt starter, or if my wiring is shorting out somewhere? I have a Mishimoto starter in my back seat in case my starter is bad, but I dont wanna waste this one too-and Id like to sell it if it is just my wiring.

MY PS leaks and I cant trace it. It doesn't leave a spill on the floor. I'm getting tired of refilling it every other week.

JDMstyles-its probably a seal or the lines arent threaded right...it has to go somewhere though.

Im workin on it Tek, I found 2 wires that have small stripped sections near one another so I wonder if they just touched every once in a while and it wouldnt start or if my solenoid is bad, if she wont start again then Ill swap starters & move on.

I have 2 jobs now, finally wooohoo! Hourly wage FTW! I start one on monday and not sure about the other but I am making progress and hopefully soon enough Ill be able to put $$ in the car. Wish me luck NICO

Replaced my coolant temp sensor and it fixed everything right? WRONG!! No biggie though, it's one more new part i don't have to worry about. Next on my list is the adjustable FPR but it'sgonna take me a couple of weeks til then.

More good news, I have another exhaust leak! Sweet. I think it's between the manifold and elbow which makes me more excited, I am going to attempt to tighten everything down tomorrow morning, maybe I will pull the entire manifold/turbo...maybe not. Pics later

Fixed tthe starting problem, found the exhaust leak, the nuts from the manifold->turbo came loose, lost a lock washer so Im fixing it tomorrow..yay no more sounding like a lawnmower.

Onto bigger news....

Bills suck, living by yourself sucks, SRs suck [jk...a lil].

I am looking into trading my SR for a strong KA + cash or a clean a** running coupe. If your in Socal and interested let me know....

Save up your $. Take it to a reliable shop in the area, have them fix all your car problems. Enjoy it.

Better idea than swapping in a KA.

I have no problems FIXING it if I had extra money, just replacing old parts and tracking down the problem . My skills arent the problem, the money is.

Delivering pizza @ 8mpg doesnt work for me and I need that job because the money is good and its easy. I LOVE my car and my SR, but I need some extra money right now and I cant afford to keep trying different problems here and there when I have bills/rent/gas to pay for now.

PLUS this was supposed to be a DRIFT car, looking back on everything I should have just dropped a KADE and worked on suspension etc. but I didnt, lesson learned

I am not complaining by any means, and I really want to keep my car/motor and finish it entirely but I need to establish a strong foundation here before I can have a fast car. And not even being able to go to meets because I cant afford the gas isnt cutting it for me.

PS I swapped my starter for a new one and she starts everytime
