man you sure like your spray paint dont cha, problem is that those parts you painted though you used primer your using the wrong kind, you need some dupont vari prime self etching primer, it's made for basicly evreything besides sheetmetal, the crap you put on wont prevent rust and wont last 2 months...if that. as for what goes where im not sure hard to tell from the pictures. and for your project, take it from me. dont sell it because in 2 years youll just buy another one..im on my 3rd...

STILL waiting on the starter, my camera is super gay so no pics.I have the intercooler mounted, fenders are being bolted/ziptied now, still playing with how to mount the ignitor chip, trying to find a drivers seat as well and I may just have to order new ones unless someone local has one I can snag...

Basically everything is done except my boost controller which I have yet to order. Once the car is running I will get tires, plates, insurance, a seat and Ill be tearing this town apart

That looks familiar...

How did you get your bumper to fit against your hood nice (custom mounts?) and how are you rigging the headlight motors so that they don't get in the way? My lights hit the motors when they go down because of how the intercooler bends them outward.

Have someone else do the wiring. Get this thing running. Most complex SR20 swap ever!

Unfortunately I think your right with the last part. I checked the starter and had the power/ground wires switched so I fixed that only to find that the power terminal on my brand new starter is loose...wiggle left and right loose so Im calling Enjuku monday to return that and I am having a shop in Cary, IL rebuild my original starter and test it etc. I wasted 2 weeks and $200 waiting for a s*** starter.

Im trying not to punch something right now but holy s*** is it hard, and more good news my camera memory card is locked so I cant take new pics OR look at the old ones.

I had my original starter rebuilt by AGS Rebuildlers, they got it monday around 4 and my dad picked it up this afternoon. $100 and it works perfect!! No more blown fuse! New problem...lol but hey its progress

I didnt start working til late so it was dark and the bugs sucked so Ill continue tmrw but I am not gettin power to my ignitor chip, going through to check all the wires I used butt connectors for on the ECU and I also need a new battery because mine is fried. Interstate to be more specific. I am also working on fixing my camera but between working 50hrs/week, trying to see all my friends and fam before I leave, and working on the car, my cam is not high on the priority list lol. Fear not NICO...real updates coming!

LILPITON-I reallly need a drivers seat so send me an email or your # so I can call ya about that!

I wish I would have in the first place, but time limits me now as I only have another week or so to get this car done, I appreciate the offer again though greeneyes.

I do need to know if I can use my KA24E lower harness on the SR, I seem to be missing a plug that goes to the bottom of the fuse box on the passenger side that has 4 wires coming out of it-> Black, red/blue stripe, yellow/blue stripe, and tan...ideas?

Mine is a 90 so assuming this is the original harness then yes its a KA24E, but who knows. I think Ill try it and find out, if I get no power to the ECU then I know its wrong lol

No power to the ignitor, spark plugs, or the sensors on the back of the intake side. I , plus I am only gettin power to the CAS thru one wire which makes me think its not sending back. Suggestions welcome....

Thanks guys She runs, but has plenty more issues ahead...

-running very rich, 10.0 AFR-idles around 1300-1400 and I tried tightening the IACV and it didnt do much of anything at all.-power steering leaks so I have to pick up a torx that will fit-FUEL HARD LINES LEAK I have to get some new ones from Napa and my friend is going to bend/flange them for me-My boost gauge reads vacuum at 17 at idle but doesnt read boost even at 3k rpm and my bov is releasing air, it just goes to 0.-I have a power draw somewhere and IDK where, its draining my battery so I have to jump it everytime I want to start her-I need a new tstat housing so LET ME KNOW if you have one for me.-I am ordering new gauge bulbs, a manual boost controller, coolant overflow, as well as a catch can.

I am working hard and often as I can, 20 days and counting!

The battery wouldnt start the car unless I jumped it, but when I tried starting it yesterday after sitting for 24hrs w.o charging it starts on the first try, and I try again in 15min and it wont start again. Got a new battery but its too big for my box or the engine bay so it has to be returned.

The starter kept on spinning after I turned the key off once or twice and now one of the terminals is broken [which is my fault] but there is also something rolling around inside of it so IDK what that is, off to be rebuilt tomorrow.

So I have until at least friday when I have everything I need, and I am spending at least another $170. Hopefully I can get it all done fri night and get tires saturday...thats my goal at least.
