This is an awesome product youre pushing here. big thumbs up for supply and demand. i'm sure this is a side project type thing but it could really sell if you mass produce and push them on ebay or even more expensive to car dealers. they would be all over it. i can almost guarantee it. scion recently started offering this as wel as honda for a few models. i'm sure if you can make 20 of em and push them more online they would leave your hands within a month.

And when you say if I supply the kickplates am I sending you the black trim piece with the brushed aluminum insert?

Well I didn't upload pics of anyone's orders because I wanted to give them that opportunity!

In any case, the first batch have been fabricated and shipped out, and I believe alphapig will probably be the first one to get his and get them installed!

OK, NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS...

I went by the print shop today, and he informed me that it is gonna be more than we had anticipated because they are taking longer to fabricate than he had originally anticipated! SO, that means that IF, I decide to do these again, they will be more expensive. After getting these setup and shipped out, I really underestimated the amount of time, energy, and money that went into fabricating these.... sorry guys, but if I offer them again, you can expect the price to be about $50 more! I actually lost money on a few of these first bacthes!!!!! You guys really should have gotten in on these when they were fresh off the presses!!! The way its looking, they may not be offered again... sorry

well this is the thing, I was trying to keep it at or just around cost for your guys, because I didn't want to be the only guy with these on his car. True, I could have been a jerk and only did them for my car, and said, "hey look at this cool mod, wish you had one don't you", but really, that's not me. I had to buy the plexiglass and get it cut for me, and just to do it for me, it would not have been very cost effective. So I said, let's try to get my money back on the amount that I spent, but not overcharge other folks in the process... but what I underestimated was how much it would cost to do my original R&D plus the extra amount it would cost to fabricate the kickplates for you guys. In the end, after all the dust cleared, I sold 13 of these, but still profitted very little if you factor in the money I lost on the intial setup.

Its funny that you offered that Warner, I would never have asked you, but honestly, it turned out that yours was the most expensive of all of the kits (go figure) but I'm a man of my word, so I just stuck with the prices that I stated, and just saw it through to the end

in any case, I want to wait until you guys get yours, and then, if you like them, it would be great if you guys could shoot me like an extra $20, if not, that's fine also.

Regarding turn around time, as I mentioned, the rate limiting step is the print shop, and its been taking him longer than we anticipated.. Warner, yours (and a few other guys) should be back from print tomorrow,I already have your kickplates, and lights, so I'll be fabricating them most likely tomorrow night, and then shipping them out on Thursday, Friday at the latest... I can't wait to see this thing "powered" with the light underneath , I think its gonna look amazing on your car... And when you go to Hot Import Nights, trust me, with your doors open, its gonna turn so many heads, its not even funny...

Well, Doc doesn't do these any more and I'm not sure if anyone took over doing this mod. I can tell you they are awesome and every time I get in the car I'm so glad I got them.
