Whats up people of nico!

I guess I should start off with a little about myself? Lets see the names Alan, currently living in Durham NC. The young young age of 18. just picked up my first 240sx about 2 weeks ago ( for what I think was a hell of a deal.) she needs a lot of work but I have nothing but time. Anyways I have decided to take her off the road for a little while and get some base stuff out of the way an over with. So as of right now the plan is to buy an build a KA-T. Take the molded body kit off (going back stock for now) find a nice set of 17’s an then paint.
I guess I will list of a few things I have planed.

Stance GR + pro coilovers
Circuit sports front an rear control arms
Circuit sport tie rods
Stance rear toe rods.
Not sure on sway bars yet.
Rota P45r (17 x 9.5)
New vis cf hood.
Stock front an rear bumpers.
Cusco front an rear strut bars.
(more to come on body/ suspension)

Megan racing top mount turbo manifold
Apexi N1 ExTi exhaust
Garrett t28
Not sure on an intercooler yet.
(more to come on this list to a lot missing.)

Still trying to think about what colors I want, I honestly don’t like black or red cars. And I would kind of like to do something a little different seeing as the car isn’t going to be anything real bad a**. An hell no to the 2 tone.

On to the pics.

The day I got her home. (looks like crap with the bumper an stock rims, oh an the 2 tone.)

New fender on an primed. (need a new headlight)

Looks like I have a lot of work ahead but nothing that cant be done. Let me know what you think back to stock body or leave the kit an get a new front bumper? Any impute or advice is welcome to. Look forward to getting you guys opinions and learning. Should have parts showing up by next week.

I'm down for the stock look. Less attention from the police so you can play with your KA-T a bit more. Plus you have fewer idiots trying to drag race you on the street. THE DAY I flat-blacked my hatch I had a handful of hondas revving their engines at me. Stock all the way, until you can walk away from anything on wheels.
Might be cheaper too. More money for motor.
Oh, and welcome!

Around 11:30 Monday night I was getting on the highway, on my way home from dropping some marts off. Right as I got up to speed on the on ramp (65-70ish) I felt the front start to move around, now I didn’t think to much of it and then the back kicked out. At this point im like s*** s***! I can’t drift!! So I do what I know best and try to pull it back in….yeah that didn’t work to good. Started spinning 2 or 3 times I think it was (somehow not hitting anything. ) I managed to avoid the guardrail… All good right? Nope seeing as on the other side was a long hill going right into the highway. Well I said F it at this point and aimed for the hill. To my luck this was the best move. Managed to get it slowed down as I was going down the hill and stopped right b4 the highway ( that was one hell of a ride going down the hill).

I probably just sat there in my car for 2-3 minutes and smoked a cig trying to calm down a little ( at the time I was more worried about the car then anything and didn’t want to see what was wrong)

I finally mange to get out of the car and look up the hill, what do I see you ask??? My rear bumper and half of my exhaust. At this point I was like ok good. Its not as bad as it could have been, walked up and got all the stuff laying on the ground. Now I wanted to know why the hell it slid out on me.. I sure as hell know I don’t have that kind of power. Walk up to the road and bust my a** on some black ice……go figure right. Adding insult to injure.

Well that’s pretty much the good part of the story, on the way home I blew my motor up and found out I bent a rim, and cracked a LCA, and blew out my rear suspension. I guess in the long run it s easer and cheaper to replace all that then try to buy a new 240. :gotme

so all that was on Monday... new coilovers and LCA's came in yesterday was going to put them on but got to busy drinking and burning s***...so they will be on in just a bit. :bigthumb:

Thanks guys,

Yeah she's low……still have a lot of room to go lower though, just that crapy ebay exhaust sitting to low so I can't and the wiering harnis in the front fender.

No spacers like I said just temp wheels till i can find some works.

i will do my best,

we where just pulling all the parts off of my boys car to put on to mine, manifold is top mount, and the external wastgate was i guess you could say blown off. i will try to find the picture of that, so i will be getting a new manifold.

On his car:

funny thing is he was trying to find out why he didnt have boost. we couldnt find out then i looked at the manifold on the floor and was like oh $hit there ya go.

What kinda of fmic setup are you running. I'm going Ka-T this winter and im still deciding on what to use. I'm leaning towards powered by max hmic setup or godspeed Ka fmic.

i have 3 intercoolers, 2 of them are ebay, and the other is a greedy. i will most likly go with the new ebay one just because the greedy one is beat all to hell.

hit me up i have a t28 and some other turbo parts i can sell you if you are looking for anything.
