Right in Quakertown, I see a few Altima's around, I've never seen a turbo'd one though. Should be pretty neat to see. :dblthumb:

But, we do have just about every big fast food place available besides KFC. So there's a lot of decent places to eat. The highschool is a lot worse though.

Finally have an update for you guys. I just got home from carlisle.

So i got my coupe back last night at 7pm. It dynoed at 250 whp and 256 wtq. So id say she is a 3.5 killa!!!!!!!!!

She has to go back into the shop some time this week for more dyno tuning. Those numbers are from 6lbs of boost. They are going to go up to 8lbs of boost and make a more aggressive tune (ignition and timing). Hoping for another 25 whp.

I left my dyno sheets at the shop, so take my word for it, and ill post them up when i get back there some time this week.

Nice torque curve! Nice project too. :mike
By chance, did you dyno the car before installing the kit? It'd be interesting to compare the before and after.

best 1/4 was 16.6

so yah, i'm happy with the torque but a little dissapointed with the HP. this is great because I can now use this as a base line to find out the real benefits on modifications like headers/exaust/intake/etc.. also, i didn't realize that my car weighed 4200lbs.!!! if only nissan made this car lighter.

I remember seeing this thread a while back, there was never a graph posted, and im not positive of its accuracy (see thread) but its a good baseline for a completely stock 2.5. Now comparing that to the 250hp and 256tq to of the turbo 2..5 dyno, thats 111hp and 94tq increase to the wheels on only 6lbs of boost.

If we assume a 10%-15% drivetrain loss thats about 275hp to 287hp and 281tq to 294tq at the flywheel. Thats just amazing

yo Danny, what's the news with UPREV, i am actually talkin with them now to get it done on my car. There is a shop near my house that is doing my rom dump, but unfortunately i have to fork over a lot of money lol, but i think its going to be worth it.

what do you know about the UPREV tune, is it similar to how the bullydog is, as in you get a hand held tuner?

for some stupid reason they didnt dyno the car before hand

but i think the dt loss is a little higher than 15%. K&n's dyno was really low

Still 287hp has such a nice ring to it!!!!!

hmmm about uprev - i threw my brochure away but lets seee

1. its not like the bd tuner its a reflash to your ecu. Not a device
2. cost me 300 dollars for the license.
3. What i thought it did was unlocked the ecu - which in turn lets them dyno "tune" your ecu for specific mods that you have to get the most power out of each. I/h/e
4. remove speed and rev limiter - i bet my coupe can do 180 to bad my tires will blow at 114.
5. 5 total engine maps
6. tweeks the drive by wire - full throttle and full throttle above 90 mph
7. timing, ignition ect
8. This is better for forced induction all the way around. (better than a piggy back)
i hope i covered it all, im really excited that i was able to be tuned by uprev.

Im talkin out my a** here but id say you would get atleast 20 whp out of this. Which is more than the bd tuner.

good luck

RT tuning did my turbo installation. they hooked up their laptop to my coupes obd2 port. RT tuning dumped my rom and emailed it to uprev.

Uprev did what ever the hell they do - in less than 2 weeks

Sent the flash back. Im not sure what uprev did besides "cracking" the software

My car was billed for 3 hours of dyno tuning, they tuned the car using the uprev reflash

2.5 6speed here. Rt tuning charged me 175 dollars an hour for dyno tuning

Danny,

What is the latest on your project? Any major problems? Is she running great, or what?

Curious minds want to know!

the only problems so far is paying for the damn thing, and thats just cuz im cheap.

I just drove from Pa to Va for work. I thought the 2.5 handled nicely on the highway before. Now it was a treat to drive. The car drives a little faster than stock and then if you choose to get into the boost - watch out!

Right before i left for Va, Vince from Rt tuning made me come in for a "check up". Threw my coupe up on a life and checked for oil/exhaust leaks. Everything was perfect.

Image

Meet Robin.

I will be installing this when i get home on monday. That should give me some more horses.

Then when i feel like leaving my car at rt tuning they will be putting in an 8lb spring and retuning her.

Reads high because of the dynojet, nonetheless, still pretty good gains. Not sure if I am liking the sound. Sounds very raspy or it could be the poor quality video.
