Must be a North Seattle/South Seattle thing... because I see very few Yarii up here, but I keep seeing V's. I saw another sedan... Sonoma Sunset.Woogie wrote:You sure we live in the same area? Since I've gotten Max, I've seen one other Versa while out driving. One in over a month.
On the other hand, can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Yaris it seems. I see at least two or three a day on my 30 mile drive to work, and that's not counting the two owned by people who work in the same building.
Sweet! Which bar??? I agree about Naperville though...I'm sure the jerkwad dealer figures since he's in Naperville he can ask top dollar for his vehicles.coxcj wrote:
I got mine at Gerald Nissan of North Aurora, and they were awesome. Naperville as a town is known for being too good for the rest of the world, so I can see how that store would follow suit.
As for other sightings, I parked nose to nose with a silver one this morning. That's the closest I've gotten to someone else having one except for a friend of mine that bought his a month before me.
I tend bar in Aurora (near Rt 30 & 34). I can usually be found all over the area. I drive a lot.
I work at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (your typical moose lodge kind of place) on Hill Ave off Rt. 34.BillyBeaneBall wrote:Sweet! Which bar??? I agree about Naperville though...I'm sure the jerkwad dealer figures since he's in Naperville he can ask top dollar for his vehicles.
Since reading this thread I have seen 4 more Versa's on the road. Maybe I'm just more cognizent of it now???
Agreed, I've only seen 1 SL on the road and that was this weekend out in Countryside. I actually mentioned this to my girlfriend at the time wondering why no one was buying at least the "base" SL which has a nice amount of options for the slight price difference. I guess people just wanted a cheap car and didn;t care much past that.coxcj wrote:

I've noticed a couple more on the road recently. There have been several that I've seen in parking lots also. The funny thing is that I have not seen one other SL (at least when I could see the back or inside).
This is exactly what I've been saying to everyone that asks me about the Versa. And although I doubt I'll ever do it, Nissans have good resale value as well. Something that can't be said about other small inexpensive cars from Kia, Hyundai, Chevy, and Ford...Bubs daddy wrote:I think anyone that is shopping for a more inexpensive car realizes that the Versa offers quite a bit for the money. It exudes quality, the price is right, roomy, economical, and it's blast to drive.
I purchased my Versa at Gerald in Naperville and had excellent service. Bill Kay Nissan is closer to my home, but I heard that the Bill Kay dealerships are screwed up (and like screwing their customers).BillyBeaneBall wrote:
Well if you saw a Sapphire V around a month ago or a Mag Gray one...it was probably me. I see you live in North Aurora (please tell me you didn;t buy yours from Gerald...which is where I bought my SB Versa except in Naperville not N Aurora..I hated those jerks..I bought my ne wone at Glendal Nissan) I split my time between my father's house in the Fox Valley area of Aurora and at my girlfriend's by Midway...
I never used Gerald's service dept. so I can't comment on that. I just hated the way I was treated when I bought my first Versa. I told them what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay and they just jerked me around ALL DANG DAY and wasted my entire Saturday. I later found out I still paid too much (and they jerked me around with the interest rate too) when I bought my replacement from Glendale Nissan it was pain free...I got exactly what I asked for, they didn't waste my time and I got a MUCH better interest rate and price.versa23 wrote:
