Maybe I'm just too old for all the hassles.mrgreeneyes wrote:i enjoy getting stuck on stuff and just being low/inconvenient in general.
its all in good fun, right greg?
right.
im young enough (23, yikes) to enjoy that kinda stuff. heck, my car is the highest its been in a long time right now, 3 finger gap from lip to floor.... used to be like 3/4".AZhitman wrote:

Plus, I looked like a jackass asking someone to sit in my trunk so I could get traction, LOL.
I just want to destroy expensive tires and piss off people my age that turned boring too damn early in life.

Do you honestly think I'd have a 400hp car w 4 lugs? Dude.mrgreeneyes wrote:those weds 5lug? if so, lets talk
Very much agreed.ILoveMyRHS13 wrote:Quote of the year.
i forgot you dropped your motor. i added nismo mounts to RAISE mine so i could lower the car moreAZhitman wrote:

Those wheels keep me in good with La Raza. They're staying put.
Keep in mind, my engine is dropped almost 2" lower in the subframe. I can't get AS low as you guys, for that reason alone (well, that and there's a limit to how far you can really "tuck" a 285...)
QFTEnjoiNismo wrote:im sure they do have it in 5 lug, but if your 5 lug why would you get XXR.
You are right. I am not in the auto industry and have never been to SEMA. My opinion is uninformed and irrelevant. But how many other booths let you take pictures of their products? Heck, I can't remember the last restaurant I went to where I didn't get hassled for taking pictures. And that is of people in my party... not like the decor or anything that they were selling. For the record, I did say "seems legit". That implies that I acknowledge that I am uninformed, but still have an opinion on the information that I do have.AZhitman wrote:

You wouldn't "chew out" anything. But if you were stupid enough to try, I WOULD reach out to the millions of people that view this site every year and tell them how your company behaves at a TRADE SHOW (a convenient detail you missed).
You also didn't read the original thread.
Nothing in their booth was "unreleased".
Since you're an expert, show me an "original" design from XXR.
I'll be waiting.
Had that one covered already... that's what I meant by "one of the many reasons"AZhitman wrote:However, there's other reasons they are "dirt cheap". Check out the raw material used. Put a set on a Hunter 9700 and check runout. Check the balance. Low-quality castoff aluminum, sloppy high-volume castings, and quickie machining.
I don't think anyone thought I was saying that RAYS cost 8 times as much because they have specific bolt patterns.Metal Angel wrote:That is ONE OF THE MANY REASONS why these wheels are dirt cheap.
I remember those pictures being straight out of the Greddy advertisments. I can't believe anyone would believe those pictures were of the XXR's. Can't you see there aren't a million lugs on those wheels.mrgreeneyes wrote:fitment on that black 14 is ON POINT.
for all you clowns, those are the gullflames not these wheels. dont go buy these and expect THAT stance without work
All of them. Seeing someone without a camera at SEMA is pretty rare.Metal Angel wrote: But how many other booths let you take pictures of their products?
Then you need to tell someone to pound sand in their a** with a shovel.Metal Angel wrote: Heck, I can't remember the last restaurant I went to where I didn't get hassled for taking pictures. And that is of people in my party...
You may have a point there - Those are some seriously hideous designs. They're likely another company's design with a slight twist, but I doubt anyone wants to replicate THAT look. Damn, those are fugly.Metal Angel wrote:I don't know all the wheels in the world... but a lot of the uglier sportmax wheels are original as far as I know... 508, 001, 683 etc....
Fact.mrgreeneyes wrote:fitment on that black 14 is ON POINT.

Immense sarcasm, my friend. I, and Matej know better. I was just playing along with his silly joke.S14toRPS13 wrote:

It's XXR. They alienate their consumers so they don't really know who their demographic is...s14derrick wrote:But... wtf up with crappy offsets and only making good sizes for the 5 lug? They would sell like crazy if the good sizes were for the 4 lug as well
