is calling someone who is gay 'gay' offensive or truth? maybe these wheels like it with other wheels. Obviously it is hard to tell since it is an inate object, but I still think they look pleasing to the eye.

Just don't pay extra for the centercaps...

I totally agree. Thats one of the things that drives me crazy about other wheels, like P45R's/LMGT4's, too. They've got too many damned holes. Thats why Bee*R B5's look better than LM-GT4's even though they're knock-offs.

They look okay, but why is there never any love for 4 lugs. What's wrong with making a 17 x 9 4 lug wheels?

I can rattle off seven different cheap 17x9 or better 4 lug wheels off the top of my head right now. The market for 4 lug ain't that bad...

Work wheels are.. 400+ EACH!? I took a gander at a few sites and all say 'sold individually'.. jc

but these new knockoffs don't look too bad to the eyes, I'd like something like the xxr 962 staggered in a silver finish or maybe nab some off a Testarossa, the dope ones!

no hate here. I've never had a rota/xxr complex and never will. i loved my 002s when i had em.

these are hot fire, nice concave and still manage not to be a direct knockoff, though very close. but i don't care about that much either.

good job XXR! these might be in store for me when i get some more cash.

first person with pics of the 17x9s on a slammed a** hatch gets kudos points!

Sounds like a legit complaint to me... I would chew people out for taking pics of unreleased products. Yeah a lot of their wheels are pretty much knockoffs but some are original. Not a big fan of xxr but these wheels look cool and if your butt hurts from SEMA Im sorry. lol.

As for the 8 or 10 holes... that keeps costs down. They dont have to make separate wheels and try to project how many hondas will want them as opposed to nissans. Just shotgun a pattern on there and then anyone can buy it. That saving on their end translates to a saving on your end. That is one of the many reasons why these wheels are dirt cheap.

I know there's a few, like the Rota P45R, but other than that, I don't really like the other ones. Obviously I like the Rota Grids, but they only come in 16's and 18's. What happened to 17's? Oh well, I'm still happy with my 16 inch Grids.

Since you're obviously not in the automotive industry, and you obviously haven't been to SEMA, your opinion is pretty much uninformed, and as such, irrelevant.

You wouldn't "chew out" anything. But if you were stupid enough to try, I WOULD reach out to the millions of people that view this site every year and tell them how your company behaves at a TRADE SHOW (a convenient detail you missed).

You also didn't read the original thread.

Nothing in their booth was "unreleased".

Since you're an expert, show me an "original" design from XXR.

I'll be waiting.

Very correct.

However, there's other reasons they are "dirt cheap". Check out the raw material used. Put a set on a Hunter 9700 and check runout. Check the balance. Low-quality castoff aluminum, sloppy high-volume castings, and quickie machining.

I had so-called "real suspension".

Couldn't get in my driveway. Or on my lift. And I high-centered it coming out of a restaurant parking lot - not cool...

Dog on it all you want, but I'm guessing if you drove it, you'd never know what was under it. It's been on-track with 'em - feels good.

Oh - Smoke 'em.
