Keep in mind by raising the upper perches you are preloading the spring.

yeah that is why i didn't want to do that. but after driving around yesturday on them i don't think i did that much to the preload. they ride quite nice and once i get some 205's or new rims i will re-adjust them.

if the fronts are rubbing your offset sucks or you're using too much of the top eccentric bolt hole :p

regardless, here's video of the coilovers in action:http://www.engr.uconn.edu/~cor...ent1/save files before viewingthanks

just for clarification, i know how to install them. i was having problems with the whole rear assembly itself being to short if you read my post. but i said fuk it and threaded the shock out of the body pretty far and its all good now. i have the front dampened 3.5 turns in and the rear 3 turns in and its really great how my car handles now.

alight new problem arised. when you preload the coils...do not preload them up until it is too hard to adjust them upwards anymore. tried doing this for more room for my tires...no good. makes clunking sounds all the time. anyways my camber blows *** so i have to get it fixed...other than that they coils are nice.

lennon, I don't know if you saw my car when I was in vegas, but I have the D2's with 9/7 springs. I didn't do that well at LVMS because I don't know the track, but I went to Irwindale on Sunday and did better than I've ever done before. I love these coilovers.

so does anyone have the K-sport? Im a newb to the susp community. is 9/7 good for daily driven drift car? I go through some crappy *** roads too.. anyone have trouble fitting them on s13's with stock 7 spoke wheels and tire size? this is how I see it, get K-sport and still be able to afford light weight jack, compression tank and air tools, and maybe some other tools. OR get teins HE and that's it....oh yea, how long are the warranties for ksport and teins?

what are you talking about? read my post, where did I say I need comfort? you need to read and know what my preferences are before opening your mouth. I drive through crappy *** Mississippi roads and I want to be able to drift in the streets. too stiff of a suspension and i wont get grip bouncing around. And you didn't answer any of my questions so quit being an a$$ and think you know it all.ANYWAYS, so maybe i should go with 7/5? i have 205k mi so my whole suspension has to go. anybody know the answers to my previous questions?

yeah, daniels a lil biotch and believes he knows everything. dont worry about it though. let him be who he is and make an *** out of himself. anyways, i have the 7/5s and theyre not bad at all cruising on the highway or backroads, but once i reach some ****ty roads it all goes to hell. that will happen with any stiff suspension though. i think for a daily driven car the 7/5 spring rate is a well suited setup to be able to kick *** whenever you want.

u should only have fitment problems when ur wheels are more than 6.5-7 inches wide...its an easy fix with some 5mm spacers

well the spinnah's go w/o saying.=) I have the 7/5's as well...and they do get rough on bad roads. For the most part though they are really nice. I can't imagine what the guys riding the 9/7 or 11/9 are going through as a street car. I'm plenty happy with the one's i chose.=) Can't wait to replace the rest of my suspension to keep up with it though.

The only think I can figure is they just keep the spring from being metal on metal. If you notice they are at the top too.

Hey guys i bought a set of ksport coils and i have rims that are 7.5 inches wide with 215 tires. Will i need 5 mm spacers? And also what are some decent priced methods of correcting rear camber? The front comes with the camber pates but I am worried about tire wear in the back. Thanks

depends on the offset of the wheels. im guessing you will be fine up to about +40 offset in front with 7.5" wheels maybe.

for the rear camber you will need adjustable ruca's ( rear upper control arms) i have the ebay brand that can be had for about $150.

I don't know why people are concerned with camber in the rear. Mine doesn't have excessive camber at all(for a car that actually sees a turn over Grandma speed once in a whlie...).

One thing I will stress - *GET AN ALIGNMENT AFTER YOU INSTALL THESE*

Somehow, it seems that the import community has forgotten that lowering the car changes the suspension geometry. Which will change the TOE settings. *TOE* is what eats up your tires, not camber(within reason). What's going to wear down the tire more... having slightly more weight on one side of it rolling down the street, or dragging it along at an angle to where you are going?

Basically - don't worry about RUCA. You'll be introducing more problems(bumpsteer) than you'll solve(meager amount of inner tire wear). Take some corners - it'll even out the wear quite nicely.

My offset is +43. And I will get an alignment for sure after I get them (ksports will be in after 3 weeks). I dont want any camber or toe! What about getting the control arms for toe and camber? I think they sell those on ebay. What is wrong with getting those ebay ones btw? I just want this thing to be a daily driver. And with about 2 inch drop how bad will the camber get? Thank you!

Does anyone have these with wide tires out rear? My rears measure 245-50-16 and are 16x8 advan wheels. Will there be any fitment issues with these?
