the electrical a nightmare? please! everything is documented and its moslty all available for anyone to do. ecus can be bought, copied, flashed with the right tools and harnacess can be bought or modified with the FSM to comply.plus I don't even think that the ecu will need to be flashed. the modules are independent.adidas2go wrote:I wouldn't do this. Its gonna take 6-8k to do something like this. Not worth the money in the least to me. The electrical by itself would be an absolute nightmate. Just curious Mehdi, who is doing something like this?

without factoring in the price of the kit. It's not worth lossing the warranty. If I was going to do that I'd keep the CVT and throw on The turbo! It's probably a better idea to sell your's and buy another w/manual...mcheddadi wrote:

people do it all the time on their 240sx and 300zx for dirt cheap. on a new car if one would do all the work, it would in no way go beyond 700$.
the kit is here to theorically simplify all the reseach and fabricating.
you installed a turbo so out of all the people, you'd know how easy this could be done, if the electrical was taken care of and the fab work too. no way in hell that would cost 6K to 8K$
Depends on what your warranty claim is. Obviously, you no longer have a warranty claim on the transmission! But the engine? Yes, unless there is proof that the mod damaged the engine. General body issues, electrical, same thing. No different than adding an aftermarket exhaust, stereo, or lip spoiler... no link to the problem, no issue.randle.ross wrote:without factoring in the price of the kit. I already have a 6MT , or maybe you weren't talking to me but like everyone else in generalrandle.ross wrote:

Its coming, I'm going to start the project this winter if all goes well just need to research more and get the fundsspockrock wrote:what happened to to the awd conversion ....
I feel like you could just take the murano drivetrain out and cut some things down - or possibly even the Rogue or something.mcheddadi wrote:Its coming, I'm going to start the project this winter if all goes well just need to research more and get the funds
Heres where my figure comes from...jaxcoupe wrote:From what I know and have heard from talking with the boyfriend, I'm with mcheddadi on this. Where did $6-8k come from? That's a really high guesstimate, maybe it would cost that at the dealer..
it's called devaluation, and refurbushing and taking back the pieces you got instead. halves the prices in half.jaxcoupe wrote: unless mcheddadi knows something we don't
Congrats, then your on the 6k price end.jaxcoupe wrote:
But I can still subtract your $1500 install estimate
Buy the swap, and build a brand new V8 Twin Turbo AWD A/C around itDAAN. wrote:Sell the auto and buy brand new standard.
Actually it wont be expensive at all because all Mechedadi is going to do is Photoshop the conversionadidas2go wrote:

There is no need to bring this back up dude... the cost of doing this correctly is MASSIVE... time consumption is incredible... finding a shop that wants to dive into it is a whole other matter altogether...Zerep wrote:im bringing this back from the dead in the quest for more power i already am reaching the limits of the cvt and with cvt fluid change coming up and the failure of cvt soon to follow i was thinking that this would be good optionsearch does suck mcheddi i looked for this for like 15min
