There are no intercoolers at all, they just crossed over from turbo straight to the throttle body. Unless they are running Water/Meth in hefty quantities this setup is built to go sky high. I would offer the seller $800 for the body because I wouldn't trust that engine as far as I could throw it after being ran like that. Detonation City!

Very messed up indeed, but there's SOMETHING still on the side intake ends of the turbos and who knows, maybe this moron has smics after MAFs? No MAFs and standalone?? Wouldn't even want the body as surely it's has the same treatment as the motor? :yesnod

Not really going with the thread but this is my Craigslist find of the week. 96 Twin Turbo. 89k Miles. $5000. Plenty of little things cosmetically wrong but she is all mine and has cold AC. Unlike my last car. Mechanically sound besides the dump pipes missing rear o2 sensors and EGR valve lines haha. Image

1992 2 + 2 with an automatic http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/c ... 75919.html

"22 to 25 AVERAGE mpg" ... apparently he only drives downhill with a tailwind and pulls it back up the hill with a tow rope.

1995 convertible which is in "this pristine condition." Yeah, lets not mention the broken center hinge for the convertible top anywhere in your post. Minor detail. 6th and 7th picture ...

^That's not a custom kit, its just poorly executed, these kits were produced in the late 90s early 2ks. I don't remember much about them but the intent was to make the Z32 look like the Konig Competition Testarossa. Which it failed at. I almost want to call the guy just to inform him that his little gem isn't so rare and as is us probably worth only $4k hahaha.

^^^^Hmmm, VERY odd and I've never seen that one before myself either. Makes it look like a whole different car, and I agree not in a good way.

It would be worth 8k with a spun bearing if it had all name brand AM parts and receipts for everything. Otherwise its a complete shell with some nice bits. $2k tops.

I completely disagree with that. You obviously didn't look through every picture. IT'S PAINTED RED, WHITE AND BLACK! Be worth $12,000 at least if the third color was Blue instead of Black. Very patriotic.

This one is primarily funny because of the dealer's pricing and wording. 1994 convertible with 83,000 miles for $8,988 ... yes that's right ... not $8,999, but $8,988 ... that's a savings of $11.00 over what any sane person might ask.

And, "This superb Nissan is one of the most sought after used vehicles on the market because it NEVER lets owners down." :bs:

Not only that, it has "Captains Chairs" and a "Clock"! All that and an $11.00 savings!

Man, I need some Captain's Chairs in my Z...and save the $11! When I bought mine they did the same, it was listed at $9,988 as if that $12 means something.
Looks like the glove box let the PO down too, so that salesman is a SERIOUS liar! :chuckle:

Yeah, definitely have to agree with you there because you could spend 1/4 th of that and get this instead:
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/c ... 29754.html

Or, you could pay $900 more than the one you found, and with just 7,000 more miles:

Bahaha, look at the last picture, hahahahhaha. I mean I know Dane @ HoustonZ does good work but that car is just  I don't think HoustonZ is actually affiliated with the sale though.

Thank God you posted that list. I have been wanting to get more low end torque out of my 93 convertible. Seeing that last link, the Millennia S, I now have the solution ... remove the "Z" pancake logo and put on an "S" instead. Brilliant. Instant supercharger! :lolling: The "S" as a logo for it should be easy to find on Ebay. In fact based upon the general lack of automotive knowledge, I could probably make a lot of money selling this "mod" on Ebay for $19.95 plus shipping for "an instant increase of at least 250 hp, a 300% gain in fuel economy, and whiter teeth in 7 days."

Not sure if its kosher to pick on a classified from this forum, if so, delete this. But I had to chuckle at the amount of BS in this post.

1991-300zx-na-2-0-investment-grade-book ... 02603.html

Ooooh, Investment Grade!! And only 136,000 mi!

Windshield wiper squirters work? Amazing!!

And why didn't I think of renting my car for movies? Probably be able to earn thousands that way.

Wow, this guy does a disservice to everyone here with some blatant lies (tilting column???) and other highlighting of things common in most cars post-1990, such as the gas door lever and other simple things most every other car has as well. And the car rental to movie/video makers thing, "have been asked many times..." OMFG, yeah, RIGHT.
Really surprised someone made it past all the BS and bought that car! :poke:

I'd say buy this sight unseen (well have to, no pictures). What could go wrong with the purchase? It's a convertible (perhaps the only 1991 convertible in existence). Plus, it has T-Tops (not sure where those are going to mount on a canvass roof). I thought the price was a little low; but reading further, I realized why: Missing three camshafts.

People need to just stop at life, seriously.

If it does have all that is stated, sad part is some people thing a t-top is a convertable, at least know what engine you have in the car. Really a single cam vg30? Lets hope that is not true.
