I'm sure even the French Judge would give him a 10 just for sticking that landing.

Earlier we had the VG30 single overhead cam; but, this one would have me a little more worried:
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/c ... 67893.html
Not sure how durable the engine is going to be with a lighter crank and nearly a quarter inch taken out. Then again maybe I shouldn't be picking on his lack of proof reading skills (or he's math challenged).

I originally thought your '90 N/A posted above in Tampa was a little over priced at $7,995 with 90,000 miles. Then I fully read the ad and realized it's worth every penny of that ... has "Genuine Nissan accessories 4 splash guards mud guards."

Though there are better deals out there. Like this '91 Slick Top with 145,000 miles for only $12,000...http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/c ... 11835.html

Now you may be thinking "how is this possible that it's more than $4,000 more with 55,000 more miles and no mud guards?" Well, you just need to read more carefully. Note: "Stillen fuel pressure regulator." That makes all the difference right there. Trumps your damn mud flaps any day.

Okay one more. 1992 2+2 so most likely an N/A but doesn't say or give the mileage. Just $5,000 ... http://stcloud.craigslist.org/cto/5233203328.html

Skip the first 5 pictures, just check out the last 6 pictures (especially the sixth one). Yep, $5,000.00

You know guys with a car like the Z32 the price will always depend on finding the right buyer, and I must say that if I had the expendable income I would not hesitate to buy either of those yellow Zs (after some bargaining of course) If they are rust free cars I would say they are worth the asking price and then some because of rarity. But again only to the right buyer.

It wasn't about the price. The humor was in the posting. Selling a car for $8,000 or $70,000 or $1,200 highlighting its features of mudguards, and an upgrade (as in mod) of a Stillen Fuel Pressure regulator. Price is always subjective. There's an a** for every seat, and a seat for every a** they say.

I was most impressed by the fact that 25 years ago when my z was built the holes were created in the factory that the mudgard bolts into. The Mud guard is to protect the paint and body from stonechips. It is something a purist would appreciate. 20 years ago when I worked at Youngblood nissan in Springfield missouri. I remember that genuine accessory of mudguards for a turbo in the showroom and rumors of them going away due to the Japanese yen exchange rate. Maybe if it had quadruple turbos (4) and low miles and only cost $3000 the dreamers would be impressed. I on the other hand got to purchase my dream 24 years after I saw my first one merging onto highway 60 in Sikeston missouri. It was white and I remember that as if it was yesterday

No posts to this thread in over a month?!?

Best I can find is: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/c ... 43118.html

Only thing funny in the ad is "It will take you where you need to go every time...all you have to do is steer! "

Must have been ordered with the special solid-gold harness-connectors that never corrode.

Been awhile, can I be surprised when a TOTAL gem pops up?
Drool on guys...thinking I REALLY wish I was a rich guy right now, and should make a visit even though it's not really my style with the Stillen, but then again it's vintage Stillen and WELL done:

Do you have a yellow Z? Check this one out with the red accent stripes. I think it looks nice. Also nice car for the money:

This one is a little cheaper at a mere $1,500. Only problem is that you probably have to meet at midnight in some isolated forest preserve with the money in cash in a brown paper bag ... and please, no dye-pack in the bag!

Last one. 1990 from a dealer. $36,900.00 which was probably list in 1990. But this one has a "telescopic steering wheel" and "heated front seats" (yeah, it's a 2+0). You can always tell a dealer ad; because, they just copy and paste over a previous listing. And yet, I still find it funny. Especially " **AUTOMATIC LOCKING RETRACTOR MECHANISM FOR PASSENGER SEAT**"

Here's a real deal. 1993 2+2 N/A with an auto and 99,000 miles. Black with tan leather for $7,788. And you ask why is that a deal? Dealer ad with "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty" ! Dealer clearly has no idea of the issues for a 300ZX.

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/c ... 65492.html

Of course you'd have to live in the area to take advantage of the warranty.

Upon further review, the previous call is reversed. Not really a good deal. "Powertrain" warranty. It would only cover the internally lubricated parts. Not the electronics (sensors, fuel injectors, wiring harness, connectors, bushings, etc.). An N/A with an auto. Unlikely the trans, diff, or internal block components would fail. Please place the ball at the 38 yard line, now 4th and 27. :inout:

Either a poor camera picture or that gold paint job was with a rattle-can. What it really needs though is some Rocket Bunny Flares added to it to really make it a "Custom Really Wide Body Kit." Can never have too much wide-body or gold paint. A little disappointed in that it doesn't have a 4-foot tall wing on it too. And some gold spoke wheels. Somebody should let him know that PepBoys sells some awesome fake port-hole stickons (kinda like a Buick look). Would really complete the overall appearance and look.

You win the Craigslist find for this month.

Looks like the matchbox version of a transformers car that someone dropped in their paint pan while painting stars on their sons bedroom ceiling.
