I dunno, man....that one is damn near showroom! If that were considered for a daily driver then no way, but that ain't a car anymore. Some rich dude will collect it and store it just like the previous owner did. you tack on an extra 10-15 yrs of inactivity and that price will go from 11K to 50K give or take.

I did see the mileage on it, it is low, but still, for a Z31? I would understand if a Z32 NA. Besides, they have had it on craigslist for over a month.

That thing is way beyond any notion of salvation! Owner should be shot and then curb-stomped.

^ looked at the one Ziggy posted. Damn that's ugly. Tired to top that; but, all I could find was this:

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/c ... 86750.html

Only thing entertaining about it was trying to translate "new cloche" ... as in new clutch? Reminds me of a previous post about "new sink-rows."

This dude spent $30K in mods AFTER buying the car? Now he's looking to make half of that back?

Good luck with that!

I'm kinda torn on this one. I'm a huge Nissan fan and a huge Chevy fan but he shoulda went with the LS1 instead of the SBC IMHO.
I will admit i hate the paint though lol. Oh look it even has NAWS!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl

That's a gorgeous Z, I think the claim of 750 RWhp is a bit ambitios but not by much. I'd spend $17k on it if it was everything its described to be.

This on the other hand I would slap the owner/builder. Its a great build and if you want to stick an ancient 383 in by all means do it, they can make good power. But why on god's green earth would you do all the anti-aesthetic modifications to it? Makes me want to kill it with fire.

I agree that this is probably worth the $17K if you're looking for a modded Z32, what with the quality mods and the fact Z1 did it. I personally like the car and would seriously consider it if I was in the market... :gotme

Lol I know there are some sick cars around here. Its just the Spartanburg area you get a lot of really lowsy customers. They'd sooner throw something away than give you a decent deal on it. Everyone wants something for nothing and no one wants to wait or pay to do things right. We've had several decent shops come and go because no one supports the community. We even lost one of our biggest events because people just suck so bad. tragic.

I bet he's trying to sell for $4000 and typo'd it. There's no way he's spent $43,000 into it....for what? To restore it to factory? There's no way. If you ran a spreadsheet for a total OEM partout of a TT from the parts dept. at a Nissan dealership, you might clear $25,000 tops. (be interesting to see what that would be, actually)

However, you take a zero off both numbers and it's perfectly reasonable. The only thing throwing me off here is he used a comma and decimal point in the 43,000.00 making it hard to believe it's really a typo. Don't know.

For $10,000 (and a whole new motor) this TT can be YOURS!

Looks like this week was the mother-load! Rager's find in New Orleans for $40K, Foosblood in Atlanta for an assembled trash pile at $10K, and Eparch's Cincinnati find for the very definition of "rice." Hopefully they all sell for those prices. I'd like to have those three "sales" as evidence for comparable values for insurance purposes ... in the event I ever have to settle on a totaled car with my insurance company.

I've actually been in beautiful Buford GA. And sadly, I can see where they might find that ugly Z31 to be just perfectly Redneck-Riced. Though they might think it needs a few more scoops. I always wonder, when I see a car that fugly, and they make the statement "Great for date night or that sunday cruise with the misses" just what that date might look like or wear. :inout:
