EDIT: I just noticed that you're a 23 year old WRX driver so we're dealing with someone who obviously looks at numbers opposed to history and style. Put a '68 or '69 with the ZL1 or any Vette with an LT-1 up against any of your amazing cars.

As far as other Vette owners go, when I drive mine I get waves from guys driving ALL generations and I wave back. Everyone I have talked to has been cool and gracious, not to say that there aren't douchebag owners, but that can be said for any make/model. I washed mine last night and got props from a couple 12 year old kids riding their bikes and I get the same thing from 60 year old guys when I pull into parking lots. A gorgeous car is a gorgeous car, period.

I think that's a '68. My dad used to have one and he told me that he had to put lead weights in the back to keep the tires on the ground. Amazing ride fo sho.

The "Corvette Wave" is actually pretty universal. Kind of a cool camaraderie exists amongst Vette owners - I've gotten "the wave" from almost every other owner I see on the road.
