If you could only have one system, which one would it be? What do you think? This is just a poll of the 3 new consoles, I know there are variety of gaming platforms out there.

p.s. -Ninja games are more fun to play than Pirate games.

I have a Wii and a 360. The only games I currently play on my Wii are Starfox 64, Wii Sports, and Resident Evil 4. I play all of my 360 games religiously but the foremost are Forza Motorsport 2 and Guitar Hero II. God I love those games.

Not after everyone finds out that the $100 they just took of was to get rid of the 60GB ones so they could start selling the 80GB ones for $599. They are probably thinking "we will give you more space but we will still rape you on price, now bend over".

I tought it was MS that was recycling their titles, in fact it's the PS3, where are their new and original titles? the system has been out for almost 8-9 months where are the hits? They havent even sold enough games to make some games qualify as "Greatest Hits" meaning you will be paying full price for games for a while. I only have and only play the 360. I am waiting for new colors for the Wii before purchasing one(for Zelda). But if I could only own one system-it would be the 360 hands up<---ooops hands down

360 for me. At least currently as the PS3 does not have enough games that I would shell out the cost of the console for. The Wii is fun, but if I had one to choose from the 360 is it.

I don't see why people insist on complaining about this. Keep in mind that I love my Xbox 360 and will keep it until MS drops dead. That said, yeah Sony did drop the lower capacity console to push a more expensive one, but how many times have you heard someone compain about their lousy 20 Gig hard drive on their 360??? I heard nothing but rejoice when the $20 cheaper Elite released without any built in HDDVD. The bottom line is that the 60GB PS3 was $599 and is now $499, if you see that as something to complain about then look at the stats. Sales went up 280% after the drop, and once game developers wrap their heads around the hardward Xbox 360 is going to get raped.

Again, let me preface by saying yet again I really have no SYSTEM preference. I go for the system that has the game library that is most appealing. I'm not partial to any hardware.

That is a good point. But you also have to remember that you can't use the presence of or absence of a MEDIA trait as a comparative attribute of a GAME machine. Yes, it is very cool that the PS3 is effectively a half-price Blu-ray player.However, you can't argue that it's a better game console because of it.Also, it doesn't really matter. There are VERY few people who are in the position to be swayed by the inclusion of Blu-ray. It's sort of like offering a car with a trunk that's a fridge. Yeah, neat. But does that make it a better car, or a more desirable car? Not unless you're specifically in the market for a car with a fridge in the trunk, and even then it hinges on whether it's a decent car or not.

If I was looking for a Blu-ray player, I'd get a PS3. But I (like most gamers) have no interest whatsoever in either HDDVD or Blu-ray, so those are both moot points.It would have been cool to see a coupon for $100 off the HDDVD drive come with my Elite (that'd keep the price equal with the PS3 after HDDVD addon).

Also, the elite is only $20 cheaper until the 60 gigs are gone. After that it's a $120 price difference again, which I'd say is a pretty good tradeoff for not having support for a format most people simply aren't concerned with.

And to answer your question, I have indeed heard people complain about the 20 gig HDD on the 360. There's a TON of stuff on the Marketplace, and it adds up quick.

my only gripe is with sony lowering their prices, I feel bad for the Die Hard Sony fanboys that bought a console when it was very expensive...so their reward for buying a PS3 early is to get a price drop 8 months later? I know if I had bought a system and saw this price drop after- I would be really mad-oh sony is just tremporary lowering prices<---just adds salt in the wounds

There's no evidence that the increase in PS3 sales is sustainable. While I would expect a larger sustainable sales number, we don't yet know what that is. Secondly, MS stated that we can expect a price drop as well. Depending on how the market reacts to a 360 price drop, there is no way for you or I to know if there will be any significant shifts in influence each console has over the devs.

The PS3 is an impressive console from a technology standpoint. But the learning curve appears to be steep and incentives still low. Until it becomes a good profit machine for devs, it will still have a disadvantage. It's a double edged sword as game support generally helps with console sales, but devs are more inclined to dev to the game when there is a broad user base.

Fancy graphics are good and all... but Nintendo is putting more work into making games fun. Crazy idea I know.

I can only name 3 fun games on the Wii so far so I'd say software wise Nintendo has no huge advantage. It's a combination of price point and family appeal that makes the Wii successful. It's pretty crappy software wise as we have come to expect from post SNES Nintendo.

While I enjoy playing the Wii with friends, I see few titles that I'd likely enjoy playing at home alone. Add to that I usually play at a friend's house when he throws parties or brings it over when i throw them, I haven't had much need to actually spend any money to get it.

Unless I'm too busy, I usually play the 360 daily...

I wish I could play all day. Though when the business is slow at the shop, I do get to get a bit of single player action in. But no XBL action.

I think that statistically, we aren't going to have as many PS3 owners since there are less of them out there than 360 owners...

my roommate has a ps3. i love it and i will get one soon enough. ive given up trying toconvince anyone one way or the other. i like the 360, but when the developers tap into the potential of the ps3 its going to be insane.

i am content with resistance fall of man anyway. i actually like that more than any of the halo games taht i played over at my friends house. im not a metal gear solid fan, but i hope the killzone game comes out and impresses me as much as the e3 trailer did at the end of the sony press conference.

he just picked up ninja gaiden sigma , and its fun, but extremely hard. ok, not extremely, just slightly frustrating dying all the time.

im not an rpg fan at all, so i dont really need a 360. i know thats not all they have, so dont start the bull****. only games i would play on it would be gears and halo. whereas on the ps3 i will 5hit all over myself when they release god of war 3. that, killzone and haze are the exclusives im really excited about right now. and there is still nothing official for god of war 3 yet.

i think assassins creed is going to be ****ing awesome i hope. all threeof the demos that they showed at e3 for it were different, and the ai is un-****ing-believable.

i love talking about games and all, but if you cant tell, i get a little ADD when im writing it all down. i think of all sorts of stuff and i forget about half of it.

i have a wii and i dont remember the last time i played it. i play the ps2 more than it. of course, when resident evil: umbrella chronicles comes out, i think i will be playing it a little more often. when we first got it, it got played all night every night. now that the wii sports have worn off though, we dont play it. hell, the controllers have dust on them.

PS3 Hands down. They are a 50gb disc. Let do the math! grand theft auto...X-box 360 is a basic 7gb disc & the ps3 is a 50gb disc! Thats 43gb more to do levels, graphics & content! everyone's like HALO3 (sucks) who cares I played the beta at my friends house! I'm not a Halo fan AT ALL but are you serious... you're trying to say the new Halo will suck because all that added was a big gun and a 4wheeler... and you're playing the beta. It's the beta for christs sake.Your whole point about Halo3 is **** because you based it off a unfinished and very limited version.

Hell, A LOT of the beta players for WoW hated it. I knew a lot of EQ players who quite the beta testing because it sucked(by knew I mean they where in my guild). Everyone started to really doubt WoW during beta. And now look at it.
