After skipping church this morning (hot water heater broken), I flipped through all the NFL pre-game shows to see who would pick Indianapolis and who would pick Denver for today's match up. I am ecstatic that all those haters on the pre-game shows talked about how Indianapolis could not stop Clinton Portis and Jake Plummer and the majority of them picked the Broncos to win. 41-10 If they keep this up, the Colts may prove me wrong that New England is the best team in the AFC.

There was nothing but love for the Colts at the RCA dome last night. It was crazy! It was almost deafening in the dome. The Colts looked real good had all the angles covered, defense, offense they had it all. I mean the interception, blocked field goal, sacks, causing fumbles and then the offense. It was just a field day for the Colts. The Broncos fans started leaving real early during the game. Every time a fan wearing a Broncos shirt would get up to leave they would get heckled by the whole section. Hell, some dumbass on the street thought I was supporting the Broncos with my #7 white Vick jersey. I promptly shut him down and went on my way. It was a good day for all the Colts fans, plus I had a good time.

I never liked Payton Manning, I feel he's overrated.

keep in mind I'm in TN and that's his college alumni so all I ever heard was Payton this Peyton that (yeah I forgot how to spell his name so what...) He never even got a national title, I found it funny in Tee Martin's first year of starting they got a the title...

Payton Manning is a very good QB. Remember it takes a whole team to win games not just the QB. I recall a certain Miami QB that never won a super bowl ring but is still one of the all time best QB's ever.

Any way Colts RULE!!!!:ylsuper

Yep. WAY overrated. That 377 yards, 5 touchdown passes and a PERFECT QB rating means jack squat.

It's kinda like when Keyshawn's dumbass said "That how he get his catches?" on Monday Night Football in October, referring to the league's best receiver Marvin Harrison. Where the hell is that loudmouthed assclown now??? Talk about overrated...:rolleyes

Like they said on the post game show, I think they played one of their best games ever.. Scoring on nearly every possession, sans 2.... thats golden....!

We are season ticket holders for the colts, and its great!! I am a colts fan!!!!

Well, Manning is no Joe Montana... yet. Give him some time. I mean, after Joe who else is there? I enjoy watching Manning and Farve, two different styles of quarterback, but impressive none the less.

But I am grown leary of a league that keeps hyping its QB's to make them more than they are. I prefer the old smash mouth game where the QB received the hike, gave the ball to the RB and got the hell out of the way.

I predict them getting a beat down, Patriots are the badness! I think the temp is supposed to be 35 degrees actually:O

I kinda wanna see the Packers take the Super Bowl, seems like it'd make a good narrated story what with Favre's father dying and him playing like he was ten years younger.

hell, I didn't see the Titans beating the Ravens either, Baltimore's offense was pretty sad though, had they been playing as good as defense was it would've been ugly.

The Colts played about as perfect a game as can be played on both sides of the ball. This scares me as I have been a Chiefs fan since the day I popped outta the womb.

It's going to come down to offensive execution for the game on Sunday. Both the Colts and Chiefs have defensive weaknesses that can be exploited, but it remains to be seen which offense will be "on their game" on Sunday.

Best of luck to the Colts, though I root for the Chiefs. Should be a helluva game.

Yeah... The cheifs always find a way to screw it up... They seem to almost always have the best record but loose in the first or second round...

Cant say much more for the colts though... First home playoff game won in 25 years or something like that.....

I want to commend Repo for reading my mind.

The Chiefs - Colts game may be the highest scoring game of the season. I am looking at each team scoring near 40 points. The 2 most explosive offenses in the league and they both have very inconsistent defenses. I am a huge Colts fan and really think that they can win this game and move on to play either New England or Tennessee.

I see New England winning, Tennessee is full of injured players still playing, they're gonna be sore...

NE being the best team in the league doesn't help the matter...

OK, its all set. Colts - Pats and Eagles - Panthers in the Championship games.

I of course have to take the Colts against the Pats. It should be a good game, but I just don't think that anyone can stop Peyton and the Indy O. The Pats are good, they have just won way too many close games, I think their number is up next week.

I'm taking the Eagles over the Panthers. Nothing against Carolina, but I have my doubts about Jake Delhomme. And McNabb looked pretty good against the Pack. He just needs to hold on to the ball a little better.

So, I've got the Colts and Eagles in the Super Bowl and the Colts taking it all.

Let's get some football convo going on here boys.

Go Colts

Same here. I am rooting for the Eagles to take it home though, not sure why.

I'm bummed that the Pack didn't win.

The more I see Favre play, the more I'm a fan. Guy is what football's all about - Leaves EVERYTHING on the field, enjoys the game like a kid, and a spotless reputation in the league.

I'm picking the Pats (just because I know one of their players....)

I'm picking the Panthers over the Eagles. I hate the Eagles, those dratted division rivals. I will watch the Colts/Pats game with much interest. I hope it is real cold in Foxboro.

I'm all for the Eagles, being an all Philly fan. They took the cheeseheads from Green Bay, and used them to make cheesesteaks at Pat's and Gino's. :-) And you have to respect a team making a play (regardless of how bad the defense was playing) on 4th and 26, getting that, and coming back to win the game. Amazing stuff . . .

So, with that said, it's probably pretty obvious I'd love to see the Eagles (the Iggles, as they are often called in South Philly) beat the Panthers this coming weekend. :-) On the AFC front, even though I live in New England, I HATE, HATE, HATE the Patriots . . . here's to hoping the Colts beat the ever loving piss out of them. So there's my opinion, take it for what it's worth . . .

The way this post-season has been going anything can happen. Personally i think it time the eagles win the f'n superbowl.

I wonder what all the people blabing about destiny and the greenbay packers are saying now. Bret Favre is one of my favorite QB's and he has a inspriational story behind his game, but that doesnt protect him from lobbing a game losing interception under pressure from a blitz.

Yaayy! I was 4-0 with my playoff picks this weekend! :ylsuper

Colts have looked mighty impressive this postseason. Peyton Manning is the best pure passer in the game today, bar none. I predicted from outset of the season that they'd make it to the AFC Championship game. However, if there's one team in the league that has something that resembles a gameplan against the Colts, it's the Pats. Without Brady's second-half meltdown, that game wouldn't have been that close. I hate to say it because I have so much respect for the personnel and I love Tony Dungy but the Colts Express slows down this weekend in Foxborough.

The Panthers-Rams game rocked! Jake Delhomme deserves so much more praise for the way he's played all season long. He's definitely outclasses skill-wise by the three other QB's but the man has a huge heart.

AZHitman, I agree with you on Brett Favre. It'll be a sad day when he walks away from the game. :(

Im not so sure about the pats and the colts.... I think they will win, but the patriots fans are probably 3rd most intense of the teams in the playoffs (preceded by the Colts and Titans fans, respectively).....

I also think that if the colts make it to the superbowl, they will win.... I think a lot will have to do with the weather, if its really friggen cold up there that could be a serious factor......
