Anyone else experienced this problem? Makes a clicking sound when I move from D to R, or vice verse. It started making the sound when I accelerate recently. Thinking something needs to get greased or tightened up

I've seen the TSB on this forum before, but it may have been posted by a user who later deleted all of his posts and possibly did some other damage to the forum.

I had the exact same issue for a while, as the clicking got louder and louder. The solution to fix the issue (what my service advisor stated) is to have the rear axle nuts/bolts tightened and greased. Even though there is a TSB on it, since it isn't a safety issue, Infiniti did not make the fix mandatory. The dealer may want to charge you labor to do it, but I just had my tire shop tighten up the rear axle for me, and that fixed the clicking sound issue completely.

I am not on here very much, so if you reply with your update, I may not read it. If I do read it, I'll make sure to let you know.

Good luck!

The TSB actually involved removing the axle and re-installing it rotated 180 degrees in addition to adding grease. Interesting that tightening it might be enough...

Interesting, I've been lazy and haven't had time to work on it. All my tools are at work so I'll give it a go this weekend. Thanks!
