What he is saying, is that, essentially, these headlights are the gayest mod you can put on an s13...

Here's a glimpse of your future if you install those lights...

I didn't think this look too bad minus the cancer lump on the hoodhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerofile/38727/73_1.jpg

Maybe I can get useful replies… where can I get some aerodynamic lights that won’t cost to much if damaged in a race.

I agree with the supermade set up they look real nice, the cs is garbage they look like shi7. If the supermade are too pricey raceon makes a similar housing for less.

dude you arent going 200 mph, those .2 seconds that you loose because of "ayro dynamics" can be made up with better driving from youtheres not that much air friction in autocross.... that money can be used for better mods IMO

You will never make use of any sort of "aerodynamic" advantages doing those sorts of motorsports.

In truth, there is almost no aerodynamic advantage to be had unless you plan on building the car to travel at over 120 MPH for extended periods of time.

You want them because you think they look cool, dont make excuses.

If you want my opinion, they are ugly, the fitment is no doubt poor, and the lighting quality will be dismal at best. As always, you get what you pay for.

Lol you can keep thinking that but a combination of that .2 seconds and good driving is an edge over the next guy. Watch video option and flex those brains cells just a little and its pretty clear why alot of tuners over their pay such extreme attention to detail.

Stick with the flip ups, not just because the ones you are looking at look terrible, but also because stock flip up headlights are easy to come by, cheap, and they dont look terrible.

And I'm confused by this;

I see alot of useful replies, the 240sx does pretty well in most races with the headlights down, unless you are racing at night, I dont see where the flip up would cause a problem with aerodynamics. And the worst part there; if damaged in a race??? If you are planning to damage them, then you probably shouldnt race at all, IMO.
