^ Philipio- I totally agree. It was cool being a frame scraper for a couple days but then it just got old. Plus have a missing exhaust hanger made it scrape EVERYTHING. But I like my new stance. I am really cravin some aero but hard to find up in Norcal.

Anyways on with a little update. Well, I had an electrical weekend. I ordered WiringSpecialties premade S13 Sr20det harness. Harness looked great! Everything was high quality with no half-assed connections and was really impressed with their work. I recommend to anyone with faulty wiring. Mine was a hacked up nightmare. I wish I took my pictures!
Random suspension shot. The TEIN Outter tie rods I bought do not work with s13. I had to either get s14 inners or buy the tein inners so I went for the circuit outers for time being (and because I didn't know how to change inners).

Heres the new harness mocked up. Clean new ecu plug! No cuts or solder! No BS!
Image
Heres the engine with no main engine harness. Doesn't look too different.

How she was sitting a few days ago.

Almost bought these wheels; I want to get some deep dish chrome wheels eventually.

And not a big deal...

Waiting on rental agency to tell us if I'm approved for a place. New turbo/manifold flange gasket on its way. Things are working out. Still looking to buy a daily driver. 4x4 for under 2000 is my hope. Hoping to spray my roof mid gloss black in the next night or two. Just simple stuff until I get into the new casa. Sorry if I don't deliver!

Yah the fabric is gonna be tricky. I beieve I'm also getting checkered floor mats so I am worried about conflicting patterns. So if it fails I'll have 7 yrds of bandana fabric($27shpd) to play with AND I'll go get some checkered fabric to match. I also am thinking about trading my new white steering wheel for a black one. New wheel is paper white while my s13's oem paint white is more eggshellish. So I choose to trade wheels than to paint my car to match. It bugs the hell outta me driving or walking to my car and seeing how different the two shades are haha. Anyways; If anyone wants to trade steering wheels +- quick release +- cash, AND OR, s13 aero PM me :yesnod

Good Morning Humboldt County!
Image

Got my first sliding incident under my belt. At this empty parking lot on a little left turn while it was wet out I made a driver error and my front passenger wheel hopped up on a curb and yanked on my front bumper cover and made it super saggy. Welding some spots up to fix that and on with the pictures.

Image

Picked up a full rack and pinion for $80 at a junkyard in Reno.
Image

Replaced the hoses on it and the boots and my CS outer tie rods make it look perty.
Image

I need this hardline to finish my powersteering restoration. Been running w/o PS for the last year and a half!

Lesson learned. Don't drift around curbs. But whats done is done; I messed, up my bad :slap: . I paid for it; Not having a car for the past week and having my friends crack jokes at me all week yaaay. Back on the road soon I hope. Seems no one stocks metric hard lines so I can't just go buy some and build my own. Aweeesoommee. Also threw my stock manifold back on. We'll see just how much power it takes away. But I'm sick of having to retorque my manifold to turbo inlet flange.

Got it all fixed with a little help from a old guy at Napa. Helped me with a bunch of fittings and we custom made a hardline and its holding great. I got the stock manifold back on and oh man, it makes such an aggressive tone with 3inch piping turbo back. Car gets aligned tomorrow and then on a mission to find a nice big empty parking lot out in the middle of BFE. Theres so many potential spots but its a matter of talking a property owner into allowing it.

I got a little ahead of myself and started ordering things left and right. Ordered the custom z32 brake brackets that are made to properly mount the brakes when you do the z32 brake swap. That was what I meant to order. What I didn't plan to order were the brand new oem z32 tt brake lines from west covina nissan. Well see if my lines are even stretched before I try to return though. Got some gauges on the cheap will be wiring those up and soldering some ECU connections. And that about buttons up loose ends. I still got that fabric laying around but waiting tell after x-mas to do any more projects I think.

And oddly enough the car is now up for sale. $7,000 obo. No rush to sell. Will wait. The build will continue and the car will only get better from here on out so the price will only go up. If not, part out central.

Got Lock washer or some kind of washer on the nut?? I know I had a time with that on my stock T25. Nuts would always back out no matter how tight you would get them. Heat + vibration = Boost leaks!! :yesnod

Drives fine. The shimmy in the steering wheel at 53-56 is back. But I'll figure it out, I have to replace an old a** arm but the car is fully functional and driving and safe! New interior shot. Gauges?

Haha funny you mention that. I threw my wheels back on in the dark quickly and didn't pay attention. Wheels backwards. After I drove around for the 10min switched wheels and back to normal. But I'm getting a nismo power brace because those stock arms with the holes are rusting out and on snapped. Plus my little dorifto accident pushed the brace back an 1/8in so I'm just gonna replace with nismo brace!
