I figure the rebuild will solve this problem. I'm not going to buy any internals tell I discover what is causing it to burn oil. So whether it be my piston rings or valve seals, I will order depending on that. New coils are definitely be coming right after the build. These KTS are ridiculously bouncy.

you're already buying the full gasket set, replace the valve stem seals anyways, it's not going to hurt anything. even if that's not the issue, at least you'll know that it won't be an issue later on.

Since you got coilovers, get some skinner tires and lower it. R32 wheels look great, but those fat tires look dumb.

I'm Planning on getting Lower profile tires. Running 225/50/16. Looking at 215/40/16s. And I want the car to Peform well also.
too low and it starts to ruin performance. But I do plan on going at least a full 1in lower. Wheels getting painted super white eventually.

UPDATE!! LSD differential in. So I now can personnally recommend to anyone with a open differential and a extra $100 to source out a junkyard and find a 94-96 infiniti j30. No need to worry about if it has a LSD or not. All of hem have it. But, if its a 94 check and count axle bolts; if 5 bolts you need the axles. If 6 you wont need as s13s come with 6bolt axles. Definitely in the personal best upgrades list. I love the more solid feeling and being able to predict the slide. Coilovers in tommorrow. And buying new tires day after. Then photo shoot time. Thanks to ka24development for the article!

Headed to LA for, hopefully, two weeks. Big fire down in palmdale so wont be working on the car for a bit. Talking to a buddy about picking up his SR hatch throwing his motor in mine and slowly rebuilding mine. Ill spruce up his hatch while I'm at it. Throw in a KA, smog it, And then idk. But ya. Stoked were headed to a fire!!!!

Updaate! Moaaarrr looww
Well my exhaust hangs lower than frame rails so until I can get some custom fab work this is as far low as I'm going, Brand new 215/40/16's all the way around. I love the new stance. STILL on the search for a front lip/skirts. I may just break down and do the DIY Lip and DIY Explorere skirt until I can find some quality ones for sale. Anyways, on with the pictures.

New ISIS Tubular manifold, ISIS Turbo Elbow, and circuit sports downpipe with flex on their way. Waiting to order new OEM t28 turbo before I install manifold and elbow and downpipe though. What do you all think? Like the new stance? Oh and putting some spacers on and hopefully going to find someone to pull and roll my fenders. Then this winter, new fresh coat of some alpine white paint!

Side news, here is the fire we were on in the canyon of Highway 70. We were doing a burnout operation. Which is burning the fuel ahead of the fire to slow it/stop it. We stopped it. Fighting fire with fire :dblthumb:

My under the influence grammer: Weill just took it out for test drive and unless someone has some tips on getting my exhaust above rails. But I still almost got high centered twice. Plus handling feels soft. Halp

My revised version: Will just took it out for test drive and unless someone has some tips on getting my exhaust above rails I'm going to be raising it back up. I grind full frame rails and the flat portion of the downpipe over speed bumps. Plus my handling feels soft. I think its due to all my worn out bushings being fully strained now. Help.

what coilovers did you get? still the same ones? do you know the spring rates?

as for the exhaust, you might just try 2.5" piping. with your turbo there isnt much need for 3"+ also if you have a welder you can cut your hanger mounts and move them up. i have also heard of people running a hose clam around the rubber hanger to make it sit higher.

I have BC racing coilovers. Front and rear are maxed with all collars still on. Ya I have a hose clamp on one but no rubber because it rotted out. I'm probably Going to raise it about a half inch. Cause I had to get momentum over speed bumps to make sure I didn't high center. Well see how it sits a half inch higher. I still wanna be able to canyon carve

Nothing fantastic but I'm stoked for the new clutch master cylinder. My carpet has clutch fluid drained down onto it from inside. Its awesome. Besides that, as soon as the tein rods show up I will have it aligned and will be able to drive and buy skirts and a front lip soon. I can't wait. Well thats all. Sorry if I dissapoint.

Well all the Aero fell through. Depressed. Moving back to the coast for a more permanent place so looking for a 2 car garage house and buy a new daily so I can really tear into the sr. Its aligned and driving. Ill be posting a Review on Isis SR bottom mount Turbo manifold AND wiring specialties harness. Plans this winter: Body shop for dents/dings removed and painted new coat of white. Engine bay too.
New interior: cut and lowered shifter. New boot, console cover, glove box, door panels. I want black bandana fabric. Hate it or love it.

Anyone selling these items pm me: front lip or 180front, sideskirts; OEM preferred, 180sx wing or tails, full rear valence. I will pay for shipping. Pickup in most of northern and middle California. Pm with pics!!
Still lovin the j30 differential! Once I get moved in expect alot more updates.

Ps- motoman (Alex) I'm back on the coast lets get your s14 rolling!

Wiring Specialties do a good job. They even answered my questions when I had problems with my ECU.

This literally made me laugh out loud. Lowering your car way past the point of ruining your suspension geometry and wondering why it didn't handle well. :rotfl

Those Tein tie rods are going to do nothing for you by the way. They're just a stock replacement. You'll still have a ton of bump steer with your car that low since they're not adjustable.
