I owe alot to him cus he has taught me everything i know and has always pushed me along with my ride. Girls can be b******, i know becuase i am one, but we do like to learn new things. Don't give up on your gf just yet! Instead of making her feel like shes being ignored cus your working on the car give her something to do. Thats what my bf does. And i love working on cars together. Makes it more fun i guess ha.

Yea it costs $800 dowa for 14k white gold with 1/2 karat diamond.!!!!! I meant thos 527 with tires! And I'm only in college dude. I don't have 1.5k to drop on a ring.

My wife really isn't a fan of my 240. She feels it's a burden and a source of stress. She loved my fc and that wa partly because it was my daily with minor mods, whereas the s13 just sits. Its close to done but she didn't like me spending money on it and right now we really can't ashford to any ways

My wifes only problem with me and my car is im taking too long to finish building her. Other then that she loves my car. Are used to love her untill i crashed her 3 separate times doing a little "spirited" driving. Now she's just pissed that its sitting on jackstands for 3 months now and i still dont even have wheels for her yet. But my wife is extremely supportive of my car. We've been having some financial struggles just like everyone else, and i actually contemplated on selling my car to get us through a tight bind one time. But she knew how attached i was to my car and would not let me do it

We got engaged a couple of months before I got my 240, so my wife was stuck with it. Honestly, she could not be more supportive of the hobby. She wan't crazy about the car at first, since it was honestly a pretty big POS, but she has really grown to like it and appreciate it since I reworked a lot of it and got it cleaned up and running reliably.

I prefer having a wife that is not into cars- I don't think I would enjoy it as much if we both had the exact same interests. If you're cool about it and treat your girl right, taking care of the things that need to be done first (like debt and house projects,) You should be in good shape. Or maybe I am just extremely lucky?

My ex used to b**** some when I would hang with a few friends and drink a few beers and work on my S13. I've had a few comments about how loud it is, and how rough it rides. When I had my first 240, its an automatic, and when I was talking about getting my current 240, a 5-speed, my ex actually said: "If you do get it, you won't ever hold my hand now because you'll be changing gears." I was like wtf, how old are you? Needless to say, she got kicked to the curb a while back.

I'm in a long distance relationship which has its ups and downs. Up: Get to spend more money on my car cause I don't see my gf everyday haha. But yeah she doesn't understand why I like cars so much but she accepts it and actually knows how much I love my car. She says my exhaust is obnoxiously loud but she feels badass riding with me haha. She says its too fast lololol (I have a stock ka)

bingo, my wife bought an intergra when we were still dating and did a few bolt ons and that was fine cuz she just wanted a glimpse into the car world. She was never big into it and since sold the teg and doesnt real care and thats the way i prefer it

My gf loves my s14. She's a pretty decent driver, so I let her drive it once in awhile. I've been wanting to retire it to track duty, so I've been asking her opinion of what new DD I should get. She says she can't picture me driving anything else.

She's actually the only person I cannot scare while I'm driving. Once in awhile, when I have one of my friends or a family member in my passenger seat, I'll mess with their heads. Something simple, like announcing I'm going to drift an approaching on-ramp. I'll speed up and shout "Here we go!!" They totally freak out, and I drive it normally and laugh my a** off.

But not her. She remains calm and doesn't even flinch, even with some late braking. A couple of her uncles and cousins have some serious drag cars and classic hot rods. So she grew up around speed.
