wait wait wait wait wait. You are in Virginia. So am I. When will I be able to see this beast? Haha I was reading and saw Victory Nissan...then I was like hey that sounds familiar...then I saw Chesapeake, and I was like heyyyy thats basically in my backyard. When the car is finished It would be awesome to see. Maybe at a future meet? It looks sick man. Awesome build.

PS Option Imports? They are in CA, but you keep mentioning them alongside Victory Nissan. What's that about?

CAMRO,

Yes, I wrote VQ35DE in S13 in progress.... That was my first thread, and I also have a sentra thread where Im installing a VQ into a 1994 B13 four door. My stuff is no where near as clean as yours, so have mercy on me, but I might have some ideas for you and hopefully you some for me. I believe there may be a link to my email in my profile.

Cool project. The VQ in an S13 is something I would like to experience. Please report back how it is to drive when you do . I like the Circuit Sports exhaust.

the nats system isnt that hard to wire up. it has 5 wires.1-signal to ecm2-ground3-10A fuse hot all time that goes to clock/security lamp4-15A fuse hot with ign. in on or start position5-15A fuse hot all time power for nats system

as lon as you have the right key with the ecm then thats all you need to do.the nats has this little black box that senses the key wire it up and tape the key to the black box and hide it. then you are done pretty simple right.

Any progress????I am swapping a VQ into my 510 and was looking up alternatives to San Dimas auto's nats removal for $1000. Good wiring tips. There apparently is a flash that removes the NATS on the software level.Anyone know who does this OTHER THAN San Dimas and Z Fever in FL?

BTW, Someone at SDA needs to learn to weld. I have seen many of their parts and the welds all look look like hammered arse.

There is a guy on a z forum who makes a really nice billet shifter relocator for $http://www.vq240z.com-a.googlepages.com ... relocation

It's been a while but I did make quite a bit of progress. New camera battery needs to charge and then the pictures and video will be posted.Stand alone control units get rid of any NATS or can communication issues you may run into, not to mention the cost is only a little more compared to the amount of wiring you save plus you can fully adjust your tune at any time. Currently (if you have the ECM pin out) you can use pretty much any AEM stand alone. And on another project we are using a Haltech.

Nice build. Sorry if I missed it, but what color are you painting it? All I saw is "won't be gold long." Needs more meat on the LMGT4s!

Was gonna wrap the car in digital camo or real tree camo but now thats the last thing I'm worried about. I agree, the tires need more meat but I don't have full coilovers so there is a spring perch that I have to clear.

Bout damn time for an update

The engine bay now. After I painted the front timing cover

Mishimoto radiator and fans

Cooling sys. pipes and hoses. It looks like hell right now, i know, but this was a royal pain in the rear end to put together. I finally had to settle with different color hoses. The black hoses I need are a month or two out.

With the 15mm wheel spacers the calipers barely clear the Q45 wheels. Looks badass tho.

modified the factory ant. to act as an adapter to recieve new Nissan stubby ant.

Had to modify the hood especialy for the plennum spacer and I had never done it before and it sounded fun.

Real Mil-Spec toggle switch safety covers. Not sure why but I had to have them. Newark.com

Guages wired up and working for the most part.

The car starts and runs but there are still quite a few bugs to work out of it. I have some video I will be posting also. Thanks for tuning in
